BE AFFECTIONATE WITH YOUR SPOUSE!!
Affection includes all of the loving acts and gestures exchanged between spouses paired with or without sexual intercourse.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ described marital relations as attaining the reward of charity
[Sahih Muslim 1006]
and
forbade sexual engagement without foreplay
[Al-Tibb Al-Nabawi, P.181].
Lady Aisha (RA) spoke of how our prophet ﷺ sucked her tongue while kissing her
and
He ﷺ counseled men to sexually satisfy their wives and not neglect their attainment of pleasure.
Affection in all of its forms, both sexual and non-sexual, are critical ingredients for watering and strengthening the marital bond that we shouldn’t let shyness or cultural taboos deprive our unions of.
Examples of affection are advised in the words and actions of
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ :
“None of you should come on to his wife like an animal; but rather there should be between them a messenger.”
It was said
“What is the messenger, O Prophet of Allah?”
He replied,
“kisses and sweet words.”
📓-{Ithaf al-Sadat al-Muttaqin bi Sharh Ihya Ulum ad Din 6:175}
—————————————————
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would kiss her whilst he was fasting, and he would suck on her tongue.”

To the Mother who's Tired, but Soldier's on....
To that woman who tries so very hard, but life challenges don't seem to stop...
To that newly divorced sister questioning her worth....
To the unmarried woman also questioning her worth...
To the wife..... just like the rest, questioning her worth....
To that woman who crawls into bed, anticipating tomorrow while still shaking off the remnants of today...
To that single mommy parenting alone....
To the busy mommy keeping it together.. From hubby to kids, food, homework and in laws....
Just remember, regardless of where you are in your life right now, know that just because you may second guess yourself sometimes, doesn't mean that life is actually not going well....
I know we have all been in some or all of these situations... I know the frustration...
I know what it feels like as we move through our mixed emotions, from doubts, insecurities, fear to courage, determination and the momentary despair that takes us back to square one....
Then we're back to our determined phase...
Ready to take on the world...
Life was never meant to be ideal, then what would the purpose of acquiring Jannah be?
I don't know you, but I know life... And if there is one thing I can guarantee, is that...
Despite all of those hurdles and moments of distress and uncertainty.... The only certainty I have is that even though I may have been clueless.. My Allāhﷻ wasn't...
He knew exactly where I was heading, i just needed Him to show me the way..
So please, never fear the occasional perplexities in your journey, it's really okay.
What matters is that your connection to your Beacon, your Rabb, is firm and steadfast. If it has weakened a little, don't stress, just reconnect and continue....
Our Allāhﷻ is most Merciful, He knows we Falter, yet He still Waits to Forgive Us... SubhānAllāh..

الإمام ابن كثير - قصص الأنبياء
PROPHET: HUD (عليه السلام)
PART: 6
PEOPLE OF IRAM (AAD) BUILT HUGE LANDMARK LIKE PALACES/CASTLES/LOFTY PILLARS!
Hud said to them in his admonition: “Do you build a landmark on every high place to amuse yourselves, and that you get for yourselves fine buildings as though you may live forever.” (26:128-129).
Prophet Hud is telling them: Do you build on every high place a huge landmark like palaces and castles. You are only fooling around, because you do not need them – as they used to live in tents.
The Qur’an said: “Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with Aad? Of the (city of ) Iram, with lofty pillars. The likes of which was never created in any land.” (Surah Al-Fajr 89:6-8). So Aad of Iram were those ancient Aad who lived in those tents which were pitched by lofty pillars.
Those who claim Iram was a city of gold and silver and that it moved from one place to another, they claim so without any evidence.
ARE YOU GONNA LIVE FOREVER IN THE FINE BUILDINGS THAT YOU BUILT?
Scholars are of different opinions regarding what it means by ‘fine buildings’ which is mentioned in this Verse “you get for yourselves fine buildings.” Some say these are palaces, while in other opinion what is meant is dovecotes(a shelter with nest holes for domesticated pigeons.). It is also suggested that these are the places of water resources. “As though you may live forever,” by building these fine buildings you perhaps hope that you are going to live for a long time in them. “And when you exert your power, you exert like tyrants. So fear Allah and obey me. And fear Allah the One Who has bestowed on you what you know. Bestowed on you cattle and children, and gardens and fountains. Indeed, I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day.” (26:130-135)
BRING US YOUR THREATS IF YOU ARE TRUTHFUL…
“They said: ‘Have you come to us that we may worship Allah Alone and forsake that which our fathers worshipped? Then bring to us your threats, if you are truthful.’” (7:70) They said: Did you come to us so that we could worship one God and disregard what our forefathers and ancestors used to practice in their worship? If you are truthful as you claim in your Message, then let those punishments inflict upon us which you have promised us. We are not going to believe in what you are inviting us to, neither we are going to follow you.

In contrast, the greatest thing that restricts the heart is turning away from Allāhﷻ and attaching the heart to other than Him, being heedless of remembering Him, and loving other than Him. Whoever loves other than Allāhﷻ will be punished by that thing, and it will imprison his heart.”

He married me when I was a virgin and he did not marry a virgin other than me,
His soul was taken while his head was in my lap,
He was buried in my home while the angels surrounded my home,
al-Waḥī (ie: revelation) descended while I was with him under his blanket,
I am the daughter of his caliph and his friend,
My name was cleared of the slander from the heavens,

PROPHET: HUD (عليه السلام)
PART: 7
WE WILL FOLLOW OUR FOREFATHERS
“It is the same to us whether you admonish us or you are not one of those who admonish. This is nothing other than the customary religion of the ancient people. And we are not going to be punished.” (2:136-138) The Arabic word for ‘CUSTOMARY RELIGION’ which is mentioned in the original text of the Qur’an is KHULUQ, which means that the religion which we follow is nothing other than what our forefathers and ancestors followed. We shall not be changing our way or beliefs. However, if we read it, following another pattern of Qira’at, which is KHALQ, then it will mean invention or falsification; that whatever you have brought to us is nothing more than your own fabrication, which you may have taken and devised from ancient books. Both Qira’at are possible and relate to what they said: “And we are not going to be punished.”
THE PEOPLE OF AAD REJECT THEIR PROPHET HUD
“He said: ‘The anger of your Lord has fallen upon you. Do you dispute with me about names which you and your fathers have invented? And for which Allah has sent down no authority. Then watch and wait, and I will be watching and waiting with you.” (7:71) Prophet Hud said: By this behavior and intransigence now you have imposed upon yourselves the anger and the wrath of Allah. Now when you have rejected the Truth and the Right Path and want to keep indulged in your false and erroneous way, wait for the chastisement of Allah which has now become incumbent. There is nothing which could turn it away now, and will very soon befall upon you.
THE BLAST - THE PUNISHMENT OF AAD
“He said: ‘My Lord! Help me, for they accuse me of falsehood.’ Allah said: ‘Very soon they will become remorseful.’ The Blast then seized them with justice, and We cast them away like rubbish of dead plants, so away with evildoers!” (23:39-41)
And He said: “They said: ‘Have you come to turn us away from our gods? So bring us what you threaten is with, if you are truthful.’ He said: ‘The knowledge is only with Allah, and I convey to you the Message with which I am sent. But I see that you are an ignorant people.’ Then, when they saw it as a dense cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: ‘This is a cloud that shall give us rain.’ No this is that you were asking to be hastened! A wind wherein is a painful torment. Destroying all things by the Command of its Lord, so there remained nothing to be seen except their dwelling places.” Thus do we recompense the sinful people. Details of My Nikah :
•Simple Nikah
• No Dowry involved
• No Unnecessary Traditions / Rasams
• No one invited by me on lunch or dinner just to make a Sunna alive that on girls marriage there is no concept of dawat or walima which a common ritual today
• As a Bride I Did Not Remove My Hijab,Naqab and no one saw me Except my Mehram's
• I did My Own Wedding Makeup
• The Simplest Nikah of the Town!
• Not a single pic of marriage and I also Organised an Ijtima on My marriage

Al-Dhunoob (sing. al-Dhanb)
Al-Sayyi’aat (sing. al-Sayyi’ah)
Ibn al-Qayyim Said:
“(In the Qur’an), the word “al-Dhunoob” is used to describe: Major Sins; and “al-Sayyi’aat” is used to describe: Minor Sins.
If one were to Contemplate over the Aayat of the Qur’an, one would see that the word “al-Maghfirah” (forgiveness) is associated with the word “al-Dhunoob”, and the word “al-Kaffaarah” (expiation/removal) is associated with the word “al-Sayyi’aat”.
Allāhﷻ mentions in the Qur’aan about the Duaa of the righteous people:
رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا
{Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds…}
[Surah aal-Imraan (3): 193]
The word “al-Maghfirah” is more complete (and perfect) than the word “al-Kaffaarah” and that is why “al-Maghfirah” is mentioned along with “al-Dhunoob” and “al-Kaffaarah” is mentioned along with “al-Sayyi’aat”
The word “al-Maghfirah” includes (or guarantees) preservation and protection (of man from the punishment);
And “al-Kaffaarah” includes (or guarantees) covering (of faults) and removal (of sins).
But when either word is mentioned on its own, the meaning of the other word is also included in it.
And the evidence that “al-Sayyi’aat” are Minor Sins is the saying of Allāhﷻ:
إن تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ
{If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins…}
[Surah al-Nisaa’ (4): 31]

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الإمام ابن كثير - قصص الأنبياء
PROPHET: HUD (عليه السلام)
PART: 8
THE DENSE CLOUD – THE RAIN OF DESTRUCTION
Apart from these Verses, Allah has also mentioned their destruction in other Verses in the Qur’an. For example, it said: “So We rescued him and those with him by Our Mercy and We severed the roots of those who disbelieved in Our Revelation and they were not believers.” (7:72) and at other places.
“Then, when they saw it a dense cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: ‘This is a cloud that shall give us rain.’ No this is that you were asking to be hastened! A wind wherein is a painful torment.” (46:24)
This was the beginning of their punishment. They started suffering from want of rain, drought and famine. They saw rain, and when they saw clouds coming in the sky, they thought it was rain, bringing relief to them. However, it was contrary to their thought and hope, it was a rain of destruction, punishment and death. That is why Allah said: “No this is that you were asking to be hastened!”
“Which He made it rage against them for seven nights and eight days, uninterruptedly...” (69:7) Unceasingly with no respite. It said that it started on Friday and it is suggested in another opinion that it was Wednesday.
BODIES WITH NO HEADS – STUMPS OF PALMS
“…you could see people lying overthrown as if they were stumps of fallen palm trees.” (69:7) In this Verse the people of Aad are likened with stumps of palm trees. Because the wind would come to one of them, carry them, lift them and then let them fall with their head downwards! When they dropped on the earth, their heads were smashed into pieces and their bodies left with no heads resembling stumps of palm trees. As it is said: “We sent upon them a raging wind on an ill-fated day of constant calamity. Plucking up people as if they were uprooted trunks of palm trees.” (54:19-20)
ILL-FATE DAY?
The day the punishment came upon them is described as ill-fated. Some people henceforth regard the Wednesday as ominous and take their bad omen out of it. This is a wrong understanding of the Qur’an. Because if we take that day as ominous then what would we say about this Verse: “We sent upon them a raging wind over ill-fated, evil days.” As we know that the punishment continued for eight days. If these days are evil and ill-fated in themselves, then all these seven days should be taken as ominous and not only Wednesday. They were ill-fated for them only.

LAW ON WEARING HIGH HEELS, WEDGES
Using high-heeled or high-heeled shoes (high heels) seems to have become a trend and a common occurrence among women, even though Muslim women. Not only the models on the catwalks or movie stars who are in action on the red carpet, but also in offices, on the streets, in shopping centers, at schools, even at study sites, many Muslim women wear these high shoes or sandals. Some wear high heels (shoes or sandals with a high heel), others use wedges, namely thick-soled shoes or sandals, so the height is evenly distributed at the bottom of the shoe.
Then, actually, what is the law in Islam to wear these high heels?
•So in this matter, scholars such as Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baaz and Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Utsaimin Rahimahumullah are of the opinion that wearing high heels is not permissible because women who use them are at risk of falling and endangering themselves when walking with them. Meanwhile, our religion commands us to stay away from danger.
وَلاَ تُلْقُوْا بِأَيْدِيْكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ
"And do not throw yourselves into destruction." (Al-Baqarah: 195)
وَلاَ تَقْتُلُوْا أَنْفُسَكُمْ
"And don't kill yourself." (An-Nisa`: 29)
Wearing high heels also has a risk to health. Such as swelling of the veins in the legs, degeneration of the joints of the feet, damage to the Achilles tendon, changes in spinal posture, etc. So something that is self-harm or self-harm is unlawful.
And besides that, wearing high heels generally makes the way a woman walks differently, which is more wavy or makes beautiful calves visible and makes women appear taller. So this is included in the tabarruj category, as well as having an element of fraud. In fact, Muslim women are prohibited from showing their jewelery except to mahrams or people who have the right to see their beauty.
“And do not show their ornaments, except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husbands' fathers, or their sons, or their husbands' sons, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sister's sons, or Muslim women." (An-Nur: 31)
The habit of wearing high heels is one of the customs of Jewish and Christian women. Their women use these high-heeled shoes to decorate and reveal their beauty to attract men's eyes. So it is proper for a Muslim woman to protect herself from things that imitate (tasyabbuh) those who are infidels and ignorant.
وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ
"...and don't dress up and act like the old Jahiliyah people..." (Al-Ahzab: 33)
So the conclusion is, using high-heeled shoes, whether it's high heels or wedges, is not allowed by the Shari'a. Because even though wedges have a smaller risk of falling or slipping than high heels, and for some people judging from a health point of view they are better than high heels, they are still included in the tabarruj category when wearing them.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الإمام ابن كثير - قصص الأنبياء PROPHET: HUD (عليه السلام) PART: 8 THE DENSE CLOUD – THE RAIN OF DESTRUCTION Apart from these Verses, Allah has also mentioned their destruction in other Verses in the Qur’an. For example, it said:…
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الإمام ابن كثير - قصص الأنبياء
PROPHET: HUD (عليه السلام)
PART: 9
THE DESTRUCTION OF AAD BY BARREN WIND
“And in Aad, when We sent upon them the barren wind; that left nothing that it came upon but reduced it to ruin.” (51:41-42) Barren means unproductive of any good and merciless. Because it did not pollinate any tree, and did not bring any cloud. It was a completely destructive wind which carried no good.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “I am helped by Saba (east wind), and Aad were destroyed by Dabur (west wind).”
“And mention the brother of Aad, when he warned his people at the sand dunes and indeed warners had come before him and after him saying: ‘Worship none but Allah, truly I fear for you the chastisement of a tremendous day.’” (46:21). It is apparent that Aad which are mentioned here are those ancient Aad, because its context is the same as the context of the people of Hud. It is also possible that they are the ‘second Aad’.
THE DENSE CLOUD – A PAINFUL TORMENT
“Then, when they saw it as a dense cloud coming towards their valleys they said: ‘This is a cloud that shall give us rain.’ No this is that you were asking to be hastened! A wind wherein is a painful torment.” (46:24) When Aad saw those clouds which were gathering in the sky, they took it for rain clouds. But, it was a destructive cloud. They were hoping it to bring them relief, but it was a chastisement; the promised punishment. It is possible that their punishment was by the raging, fatal, immensely cold wind that continued for seven nights and eight days, and did not leave any person alive. It followed them everywhere, even it entered into the caves of the mountains and destroyed them there.
