Be Careful with Thieves of the Month of Ramadan!
Reminder for Myself and Those who Wish to Benefit As Ramadan is Almost here.

1. Television
this thief is Dangerous and Ruins Days of People and Diminishes their Reward's, by Watching Movies where the Day's are the Best of All day's and Night's are the Best of All Night's.

2. Too much Sleep
Just because it is Said in Hadith that Even sleep in this Month has Thawab doesn't Mean that you Should Excessively Sleep. The Point is that if Even sleep Contains Reward's then Imagine the Reward's of Ibadat.

3. Wasting Night
A Thief that Steals most Valuable time from you. This thief is Responsible for turning you away from Salatul layl, Istighfār and Tawbah and Reading of Specific Duas of Ramadan and Recitation of the Qur'an.

4. Stinginess
Give Sadqa, Iftar and help Other's. Give Iftar Even if it is half a Date or a Sip of Water, so ALLĀH ﷻ will Forgive your Past Sins.

5. Bad Akhlaq Manners
Fasting is not just Restraining from Food and Drinks but Eye's, Ears, Tongue and all Parts of the Body Should also be Fasting. Stay away from Lying, Backbiting, Cursing, Suspicion.

And the Biggest thief ... 6. Social Media i.e Facebook, Intsagram,Telegram,Whatsapp etc...

If You do not Use Them in the Right way, all Your good Deeds Could be Taken from You.

So Don't let this Holy Month go so that When Everyone is Receiving their Reward's, you are also Not the one who is Empty Handed!

May ALLĀH ﷻ Accept our IBADAT! Aāmeen Ya Rabbul Alāmeen

O he who committing sins did not suffice him in Rajab
Until he disobeyed his Lord in Sha’bān,
The month of fasting has arrived to you after them
So do not turn it into a month of disobedience as well
Recite the Qur’ān and glorify the praises of your Lord
For verily it is the month of the Qur’ān and glorification
How many have you known who fasted with you in the past?
From among your family members, neighbors, and brothers
Death has perished them and spared you after them
How close is the farness from the approaching one?

(Ibn Rajab’s Latāif al-Mā’rif pg. 282)

Ramadān Tips:

1. Limit your use of social media and spending excessive time on it socialising. Every second of Ramadān is precious, so don’t waste your time online if it won’t bring any benefit. However, online platforms should be used for spreading reminders and benefits and one shouldn’t stay away from it completely if they are using it to benefit the Ummah.

2. Eat healthy. Don’t overeat and stay away from unhealthy foods as it will effect your quality of ‘Ibādah. Drink plenty of water when you can.

3. Don’t waste time after you break your fast like many do and excessively socialise. It’s best to stay away from such gatherings in the first place so you don’t fall into doing and speaking about harām things.

4. Always make extra effort and do more as Allāhﷻ has made ‘Ibādah so easy for us in this blessed month, Alhamdulilāh.

5. Utilise the early hours of the morning well after Fajr, as they have so much barakah in them. Use this time to recite a lot of Qur’ān, memorise and reflect over it and remember Allāhﷻ.

6. Recite as much Qur’ān as possible! If you struggle with this, base your recitation around the prayer times and try to at least read a page before and after each Salāh and increase as you go. Although there’s nothing wrong with completing the Qur’ān as that’s what the righteous of the past used to do in this blessed month, don’t forget to also read the tafsīr and reflect over the meanings. This will have a greater effect on one’s Īmān, Taqwā and Salāh, inside and outside of Ramadān.

7. Get a decent amount of rest so you can wake up frequently if able in the last third of the night to do extra ‘Ibādah. There are special times where du’ā is more likely to be answered, now imagine the likelihood of it being answered in the last third of the night, during Ramadān, in Sujūd, and even more so if that night was Laylatul Qadr!

8. Seek Laylatul Qadr every night in the last ten nights, especially the odd nights, and refrain from singling one night out and ignoring the rest. Allāh will only allow the true, sincere ones who make effort with ‘Ibādah to witness this amazing, blessed night.

9. Help your brothers and sisters whenever you can with their needs and hasten to do good deeds even faster in this month.

10. Be humble in front of Allāhﷻ and turn to Him in repentance every day and night of Ramadān. Only Allāhﷻ knows how many sins we have accumulated over the year so we need to beg Allāh for His forgiveness during these blessed days and nights, and think well of Allāhﷻ always.

These are a Few tips, but there is so much more that can be done to maximise our ‘Ibādah in this month. Also don’t forget to make plenty of du’ā for the entire ummah; those living and those in their graves.

May Allāhﷻ accept our worship and help us truly give this blessed month its rights.

اللهم آمين

Friday_Reminder

• O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of ALLĀH ﷻ and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.

[Al-Jumu'ah 62:9]

▪️ Reading Surah al-Kahf 📖

It was Narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khduri that the Prophet (ﷺ) Said:
“Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.”

[Narrated by al-Haakim; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 836]

▪️ Ghusl🚿

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (ﷺ) Said:
“Whoever does ghusl then comes to Jumu’ah, and prays as much as ALLĀH ﷻ decrees for him, then listens attentively until the khutbah is over, then prays with him (the imam), will be forgiven for (his sins) between that and the next Jumu’ah and three more days.”

[Narrated by Muslim, 857]

▪️ Sending a lot of blessings upon the Prophet (ﷺ)

It was narrated from Aws ibn Aws that the Prophet (ﷺ) Said:
“The best of your days is Friday. On that day Adam (peace be upon him) was created; on that day he died; on that day the Trumpet will be blown; and on that day all of creation will swoon. So send a great deal of blessings upon me, for your blessings will be shown to me.” They said, “O Messenger of ALLĀH ﷻ, how will our blessings upon you be shown to you when you have turned to dust?” He said, “ALLĀH ﷻ has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets, peace be upon them.”

[Narrated by Abu Dawood, 1047; classed as saheeh by Ibn al-Qayyim in his comments on Sunan Abi Dawood, 4/273;]

▪️ Sa'at al-Istijabah: A time when Dua is Answered

Jabir relates that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
Friday is comprised of twelve hours. There is one in which a Muslim who asks Allah for something will have it granted to him. Seek it in the last hour after Asr.

[Abu Dawud 1048, Sunan An Nasa'ī 1390, Mustadrak Al Hakim 1032]

Shaykh Sālih‌ al-Us‌aymī Said:

I Pondered Over the Association of Fasting and the Qurʾān in Curing the Servant, and i Found that They Both Rid his Greatest Desire's and they Preserve his Tongue and Private Part's.

Fasting breaks his Sexual Desire's, and the Qurʾān Breaks his Desire's of Speech. therefore, the Servitude of the One who is Fasting is Greatened and He Deserves the Intercession of his Fasting and Reciting.

Ramadan Quiz 🌴

What is meant by the term Diyah (دية) according to Islamic jurisprudence?
Ramadan Quiz Answer

What is meant by the term Diyah (دية) according to Islamic jurisprudence?

Answer :
B. This is the blood money given out instead of qisas in the case of killing.

Qisaas by killing the killer can only be in cases of intentional (willfully) killing, according to scholarly consensus.

Ibn Qudaamah said in al-Mughni (8/214) :
The Scholar's are Unanimously agreed that Qisaas is not required Except in the case of Intentional/willfull Killing, and we do not know of any difference of Opinion with Regard to Qisaas being Required for Intentional killing if All conditions are Met. This is Indicated by the General meaning of the Verses and report's. ALLĀH ﷻ says (Interpretation of the Meaning):

“And whoever is killed wrongfully (Madhlooman intentionally with Hostility and Oppression and Not by Mistake), We have Given his heir the Authority [to demand Qisaas, Law of Equality in punishment or to forgive, or to take Diyah (blood money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e. he should not kill except the killer)” [Al-Isra’ 17:33]

“And there is (a saving of) life for you in Al-Qisaas”
[Al
-Baqarah 2:179]

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ)l Said:
“If a person’s relative is killed, he has the choice of two options: either (the killer) may be killed or the (Diyah/fidyah (ransom, blood money) may be paid.”
Agr
eed upon.

According to another version: “Whoever has a relative killed after what I have said, his family has two options: to accept the diyah or kill (the killer).” And he (peace and blessings of ALLĀH ﷻ be upon him) said: “There is Qisaas for intentional Killing, unless the heir of the slain (Murdered) lets him off.”
End
quote.

There was no difference of opinion among the scholars that it is valid for the heirs of the victim to forego qisaas and accept the diyah. This is what is indicated by the Ahadith quoted above.

I
n that Case, the Killer may be Set Free and he Should be Obliged to Pay the diyah.

And ALLĀH ﷻ Knows Best.

She did ghusl following her menses when she was not certain as to whether it had ended, then she became certain before Fajr, so she fasted and prayed without repeating ghusl. Is her fast and prayer valid?
Ramadan Quiz Answer

She did ghusl Following her Mense's when She was not Certain as to Whether it Had Ended, then She became Certain Before Fajr, so She Fasted and Prayed without Repeating ghusl. Is Her Fast and Prayer Valid?

Answer :
A. The fast is valid while the prayer is not

Firstly:
The End of Mense's is known by One of two Signs:
1. The Emission of the White Discharge [tuhr], which is Well known to Women.
2. Complete Dryness, so that if a Woman inserts a piece of Cotton or the like, it Will come Out clean with no Trace of Blood or Yellowish or Brownish Discharge on it.
A Woman should Not hasten to do Ghusl Until she is Certain that her Period has Ended.

Imam al-Bukhaari Rahim رحمه الله Said:
Chapter: the Beginning and End of the Menstrual flow. Some Women Used to Send to ‘Aisha Radi Allāhu anhu Pads of cotton with traces of Yellowish Discharge, and she would Say: Do not Hasten until you See the White Discharge – meaning that the Period had Ended. The Daughter of Zayd ibn Thabit Radi Allāhu Anhu heard that some women used to call for Candles in the depths of the Night, to see whether their menses had Ended, and she said: The women never used to do that – and she criticized [those who did that]. End quote.

Secondly:
If a woman becomes certain that her period has ended before Fajr, then she must fast.
If she is not certain whether it has ended, then her fast is not valid, even if we assume that no discharge is emitted during that day, because the intention of fasting is not valid unless one is certain that the period has ended.

Thirdly:
If a woman does ghusl at the beginning of the night although she is uncertain as to whether her period has ended, then she becomes certain of that before Fajr, and she prays and fasts without repeating ghusl, then her fast is valid but her prayer is not.

● That is because in the case of fasting, it is stipulated (specified) that the menses should have ended, even if the woman has not yet done ghusl.
But in the case of prayer, it is essential to do ghusl, and her first ghusl is not valid when there is some uncertainty as to whether the menses has ended. So she should do another ghusl after her certainty then perform the prayer.

It says in Kashshaaf Al-Qinaa‘ (1/146),
Regarding things that make ghusl obligatory:
The fifth is Menstrual bleeding, because the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said to Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh: “When it ends, then do ghusl and pray.” Agreed upon.

This is supported by the verse in which ALLĀH ﷻ, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordained for you" [Al-Baqarah 2:222],

That is, when they have done ghusl (after menses), that is when the husband is allowed to have intercourse with his wife. So the husband is not allowed to have intercourse with his wife if she has not done ghusl after her menses, - which indicates that it is obligatory for her to perform ghusl.

R
ather ghusl becomes obligatory once the bleeding of menses begins, and the cessation (end) of menses is the condition for it (ghusl) to be valid. End quote.

An
d ALLĀH ﷻ knows best.
