Satellite images from the Pskov airfield show that the GUR lied about four destroyed aircraft. Only two damaged ones are visible here.

The modest damage on the two damaged Il-76s suggest relatively small drones were used. Again suggesting an attack from Estonia or Latvia.
The fact the Russians have yet to release an official statement on the attack is highly significant and quite worrying.

Evaluating readily-available candidates for the attack in Pskov, Switchblade 600s fired cross-border from Latvia or Estonia seem like the most probable candidates to me. This wasn't some gimmick attack with cheap drones, they intended to destroy every aircraft at that base and fired enough munitions to do it.

‼️🚨 HOW MSM PROPAGANDA WORKS:
“The Kremlin is rushing reinforcements to southern Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia Oblast. It’s a desperate bid to prevent a major Ukrainian breakthrough along a critical axis.”
Forbes is a serious news outlet, surely they have a serious source?
-> Nope their story is based on a telegram post.
The post specifies neither the unit nor the location.
So, a woman holds two chevrons, which you can buy for $2 online, somewhere … and Forbes builds a whole thesis on this.
That’s how it works!
That’s why you can’t trust them!

🇺🇸🇪🇺 The American media does not get tired of exercising cynicism: "The EU defeats the energy crisis by reducing industry"
First, The Economist ran an article about the unenviable economic situation in Germany: the German economy is in recession for the third quarter, and the country is one step away from being the only large country whose GDP will decline in 2023.
The magazine mockingly called Germany a "sick patient" of Europe, even though it was the United States that undermined the German economy for the sake of conflicts, prompting the country to consistently join anti-Russian sanctions. Let's not forget about the undermining of the Nord Streams, which the United States organized so that Germany would not refuse to support Ukraine because of cheap Russian gas.
The Washington Post went further and cynically wrote that the EU and, in particular, Germany are defeating the energy crisis by closing energy-intensive enterprises. We are talking about enterprises for the production of fertilizers, chemical, metallurgical, glass, paper, and ceramic industries.
“All these closed factories now do not need either gas or oil,” the Washington Post gloats.

As of the evening of September 1st, fighting continues along the Rabotino-Verbovoye line.
The leadership of the Russian Armed Forces in this region has decided to withdraw from the southern outskirts of Rabotino due to ongoing AFU attacks and the destruction of the village. Holding onto this area has become increasingly difficult. Therefore, the RF Armed Forces have retreated towards the heights to the south of Rabotino. From this position, active artillery and aviation operations are being conducted against the AFU.
This decision is not surprising since maintaining control over the ruins of the village would result in heavy losses, which is currently deemed impractical. Consequently, the Russian Armed Forces have withdrawn to fortified positions slightly to the south, essentially forming a defensive line. Holding Rabotino without control over the southern heights is extremely challenging, and as a result, part of the village remains in a grey zone. Whether counterattacks will occur remains uncertain, and time will reveal the outcome.
In the direction of Verbovoye, fighting has persisted throughout the day. AFU are attempting to advance through the fields but have not yet achieved success and have incurred losses.

Despite my pessimism about the current situation, I agree with Alexander Mercouris that the increasingly belligerent and hysterical outbursts from Kuleba and Podolyak (even by their standards) probably do reflect growing political concern in Kiev. The potential 'physical removal' of Kolomoisky only adds evidence to this case, as he is one of the only figures within Ukraine who could pose a threat to the Zelensky gang. They perhaps understand that their most difficult months lie ahead.

Having penetrated our defenses in this area, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are throwing all their forces in order to seize the bridgehead in the settlement. Willow. So far, they have only one road to the outskirts of the village, which is located in a lowland and can be seen even from the villager himself. One trench, through which they drive everyone. 200's are left right there, stepping over the corpses, the rest of the groups are trying to put pressure on this area.
Our artillery is working closely on the approaches to the trench and directly into it. A large number of forces and means were used to destroy the enemy precisely in it, since there he can be caught completely defenseless.

🇮🇩🇷🇺🇨🇳🇺🇸 Indonesia’s military chief has denied issuing any shared statements with his US counterpart during a visit to Washington last week, after the Pentagon published a “joint” press release attributed to Jakarta which criticized Moscow and Beijing.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto said the US statement does not reflect his country’s positions, stating that Indonesia seeks friendly relations with both Russia and China.
“There is no joint statement and no press conference. What is important for me to underline is that our relationship with China is very good. We respect each other, we already have mutual understanding. I conveyed that in the US,” he said, adding “We are close friends with China, we respect America, and we seek friendship with Russia.”
The official went on to announce plans to visit Beijing and Moscow in the coming months, voicing hopes that Jakarta could serve as a “bridge” between rival states.

📌 A group of pensioners (Ages 66, 67, 62, 71, and 75) received mobilisation subpoenas in the city of Dnipro today. This was reported in local media telegrams and other social groups today. All men had previously fought in the Soviet Army.
This comes after civil authorities in Kiev are actively seeking to extend mobilisation from ages 16-70.
