This is odd. All the news agencies are reporting that the Air Canada heist was worth about $20M -$23 but it looks way over that. They report that 400Kg of gold and $2M in cash was stolen. 400kg x 2.2 x 16 = 14,080 ounces @ $1900 USD / ounce @ 1.35 USD/CAD = $36M in gold, plus the cash = $38M. 🤔
