Diplomats are confused by the insufficient level of democracy and the rule of law in Ukraine .

There are also questions about human rights and the protection of minorities, the newspaper reports.

But Germany offers to give Ukraine a kind of "conditional candidate status."

It was built in 1860. The arched bridge is designed to create a perfect circle when it reflects in the still waters below.
It’s known as the Devil’s Bridge due to the belief that the magical circle and dangerously steep arch . It was recently restored.

Mystery of Cahokia – why did North America’s largest city vanish?

Long before Columbus reached the Americas, Cahokia was the biggest, most cosmopolitan city north of Mexico. Located in southern Illinois, eight miles from present-day St Louis. It was occupied by the Mississippians, a group of Native Americans.

Tales of Cahokia don’t even show up in Native American folklore and oral histories.

By 1350 Cahokia had been deserted by its native inhabitants the Mississippians – and no one is sure why…
