Did you know that the guy who covered Germany's Reichstag was Bulgarian?

On June 13th, Bulgarian State media commemorated Christo's 90th birthday. Born in 1935 in Gabrovo to a chemist father and an art‑enthusiast mother, he studied at Sofia’s National Academy of Art before launching an iconic international career in land art and environmental sculpture.

He gained renown transforming public spaces into ephemeral art.

➡️ “There will be many more arrests — this is not the end,” Vučić said. “Lives of citizens, police, and intervention units were endangered. They’re now demanding only elections — they want to rule.”

NOTE: The student movement in Serbia began in late 2024 as a reaction to the collapse of a train station roof in Novi Sad, an event that resulted in multiple casualties and sparked widespread concern over corruption and public safety. Initially centered around demands for accountability, improved infrastructure oversight, and increased education funding, the protests were led by university students who organized through democratic plenaries and occupied faculties in Belgrade and other cities. What started as a student-led initiative has since expanded far beyond the academic sphere: farmers, lawyers, artists, medical professionals, and workers from various sectors have joined in. The movement, while still led by students, has grown into a broad, nationwide mobilization calling for structural reforms, institutional transparency, and early elections.

🇷🇸 NEW: Global Intel Watch published a very interesting analysis of current traffic patterns and roadblocks in Belgrade.

At least 18 key intersections and arteries are blocked, including all major access points to the city center, bridges over the Sava and Danube Rivers, and segments of the main southbound highway (Autoput za Niš).

The blockade pattern effectively divides the city into multiple isolated zones, crippling logistical movement between Zemun, Novi Beograd, Stari Grad, Voždovac, and central government zones near the Belgrade Fortress and administrative core.

Belgrade’s urban layout—non-grid, decentralized, and with limited rapid deployment corridors—does not favor regime countermeasures in the event of urban unrest. If hostile actors hold these chokepoints, the central government may find itself encircled and tactically immobilized.

Conclusion: Based on current mobility data, the Serbian regime appears to be in a state of acute vulnerability. Unless aerial or armored units are rapidly deployed, command and control capacities in the capital are likely degraded.
