We've Launched a New Server in the Matrix Federation! 🚀

We’re excited to announce that our new server is now live and fully integrated with the Venom blockchain! 🥳 We welcome the Venom community to join us and become a part of our family. 🤗

This is already the third blockchain we've connected to the Matrix federation. For newcomers, federation in the Matrix protocol allows different servers to communicate seamlessly with each other. This creates a decentralized and resilient network, enabling users on different servers to chat and interact, all within a network that already exceeds 100 million users. 🙀

New server is built specifically for the Venom community, providing you with private communications and a suite of advanced web3 features:

Chums Calls: Now Out of Beta! 🎉

Hey Chumsies! 🐰

Big Feature Alert! Audio and Video Calls Now Available 😱

We’ve stabilized and improved the audio and video calling feature, which was previously only accessible by enabling the "Experimental Features" option in your profile.

🔒 Reminder: Your calls are protected with end-to-end encryption, just like your messages and files, ensuring your privacy is always secure!

There are still a few minor issues in this version that will be addressed in the next releases.

Bug Fixes:
🎆 You can now see a thumbnail when replying to an image
💡 Digital personas open correctly again
〰️ Link highlighting in messages has been fixed

We’ve also customized the default browser page with links to dApps for the everscale.chat and venom.fan servers, making it even easier to access Web3 services directly from the app 🌐.

We’re making Chums simpler and more user-friendly for you:

✨ All servers are now updated! Domain services are now unified across servers, and shared rooms for news and support are added. And that’s just the beginning.

Tabs have been revamped. There are now two: general chats and recommendations from the server owner. How it works deserves its own post—adding it to the backlog!

Servers now greet you with custom homepages 🏡, giving each community its own unique style.

Experimental features? Of course! We’ve improved multi-account support for smoother switching.

And let’s not forget the bug fixes:
📸 Image sharing on iOS is fixed.
📌 Pins now respond to clicks.
👥 No more message cuts when mentioning multiple people.
⚡️ Faster app launches and smoother GIFs.
