Has anybody else considered that "the a stands for ally" is a paradox?

I've been thinking about this for a while, but I feel that when somebody claims that LGBTQIA+ includes "ally," they're creating a logical paradox.

If you look at the definition of "ally" (for example in Merriam-Webster), you'll see:

"a person or group that provides assistance and support in an ongoing effort, activity, or struggle—often now used specifically of a person who is not a member of a marginalized or mistreated group but who expresses or gives support to that group"

And this isn't only in Merriam-Webster. If you call yourself an ally but insert yourself into the marginalized group you're supporting, you're directly contradicting the very definition of ally.

By definition, you can't be an ally of something you are a part of.

i sometimes collect things that look more like anime, i sometimes get other kind of arts. the main intention was to "i would like to draw that specific image by myself because it looks interesting to draw" but it ended up as something diferent
