When you want to feel whole again, you must start by permitting yourself. Sometimes when things go wrong, you hinder your ability to heal emotionally by not allowing yourself to heal. If this sounds like your situation, then you need to permit yourself to become whole again.

You won’t overcome obstacles right away. It takes time, so you must be patient with yourself as you go through it. Use this healing affirmation if you find yourself getting frustrated with your progress because you will get there, even if it takes time.

28. Become a Better Listener: Most of us are very poor listeners. We interrupt others and start responding. Be content to listen fully what others are saying. Other person then feels
respected. Both feel peaceful, and conserve energy. There is no competition for time. The understanding and communication then becomes better.
29. Choose Your Battles Wisely: This simply means that there is no need to get worked up about everything. Do not argue, confront or fight over ‘small stuff’. There will always be difference
of opinion, imperfection. Accept these. This way you are more peaceful and conserve energy for the important battles.

What Behaviors Are Associated With Bedtime Procrastination?
Three factors are required for a late sleep time to be considered bedtime procrastination
A delay in going to sleep that reduces one’s total sleep time
The absence of a valid reason for staying up later than intended, such as an external event or an underlying illness
An awareness that delaying one’s bedtime could lead to negative consequences
Bedtime procrastination behaviors reflect procrastination in other contexts, such as avoiding doing homework or household chores. Procrastinating on sleep doesn’t usually generate negative associations like those other obligations, however. Instead, sleep may be curtailed in favor of activities that offer more immediate enjoyment, such as watching TV, spending time with friends, or playing video games.
Sleep procrastination can take different forms. One form involves delaying the act of getting into bed (bedtime procrastination). Another is delaying the time of trying to fall asleep once in bed (while-in-bed procrastination), a problem that has been associated with rising rates of electronic device use in bed.
A person may engage in one or both forms of sleep procrastination, each of which can reduce nightly sleep.

Forgiving others is essential to feeling whole again, as well. Even if you don’t allow them back in your life, you can forgive them and find peace again. Forgiveness will help you feel whole as you move forward.

Things get hard sometimes, but you must love yourself through it. Even if you feel that you have messed up somehow, be compassionate and continue to love the person that you are. Obstacles, failures, and setbacks are all ways to become an even better person.

30. Become Aware of Your Moods and Don’t Allow Yourself To Be Fooled by The Low Ones: Our low moods can deceive us in believing that life is worse than what it really is. When you are in a good mood, life looks great. You have perspective, common sense and wisdom. Things don’t appear so hard, problems appear less formidable and easier to resolve. Relationships are easy, communication is good. Bad mood does exactly the opposite. The important thing to realize is that with problems, people, remaining same, the moods make them appear different. When you detect yourself to be angry, frustrated, stressed, depressed, just accept that as a phase of low mood rather than blaming circumstances and people. Just relax and let it pass off. Don’t analyze life at such moments, it will be emotional suicide. The trick is to be grateful for our good moods, graceful in our low moods. Remind yourself “This too shall pass”.
It will.

You may have been victimized & it may have shaped you, but it doesn't have to define you. You're stronger and more empathetic because of it, but you are so much more than what was done to you.

Anger....
Neurologists claim that every time you resist acting on your anger, you’re actually rewiring your brain to be calmer and more loving. To manage your anger you only need to do this simple practices ....
> Admit that you are angry, to yourself and/or to someone else.
> Believe you can control your anger. Tell yourself that you can!
> Calm down. Control your emotions. Take some time for yourself, breath deeply, count to ten, cry...do whatever works for you.
> Decide how to solve the problem. This step only works once you are calm. Figure out what you need, and what's fair.
> Express yourself assertively. Ask for what you need. Speak calmly, without yelling, and people will listen to you.
