La pioggia batteva sull’asfalto come dita nervose su una tastiera esausta. Nella periferia stanca di Tokyo, lontano dai neon del centro e dagli odori troppo puliti dei quartieri residenziali, tra un pachinko spento e un konbini abbandonato c’era un bar dimenticato dal tempo. Si chiamava Himitsu, ma nessuno lo trovava per caso. Il bancone era di legno scrostato, l’illuminazione gialla come un ricordo stinto, e nell’aria, un misto di saké e incenso bruciato. Chi vi entrava non cercava compagnia, ma rifugio.
Io, Bruno Baraffa, vi entrai come un uomo che ha letto troppi manga e visto troppi anime per distinguere ormai il reale dal riflesso. Sedevo all’angolo più buio, con un bicchiere di whisky torbato davanti e un taccuino pieno di appunti sull’infanzia come merce e frasi taglienti come vetri. Di fronte a me, Miyajima Reiji, autore del best-seller Rent-A-Girlfriend, soppesava ogni sorso di shōchū davanti con l’aria pensierosa di chi ha venduto milioni di copie, ma ha perso qualcosa per strada. Il successo su Weekly Shōnen Magazine non l’aveva salvato dalla vertigine del pensiero.
Accanto, il Maestro Dorontabi. Non era un hikkikomori, almeno non più. Era un illustratore. Famoso per il suo tratto irregolare, evocativo, capace di fondere realismo, eros e sogno. L’arte sua aveva definito l’identità visiva di Blue Archive, quel gioco di Nexon che sembrava una galleria di archetipi in lotta con la modernità. Le sue illustrazioni non si limitavano a ornare, raccontavano. A ogni occhiata, un mondo; a ogni personaggio, un’interiorità sospesa.

Il ghiaccio si era sciolto nel fondo dei bicchieri, ma nessuno di noi lo notava. Le parole pesavano più dell’alcol. A un certo punto, Dorontabi sollevò lo sguardo, le pupille immobili sotto la luce tremolante.
«Sapete qual è la più grande menzogna del nostro tempo?» chiese. «Che l’innocenza sia una condizione da superare. Un errore evolutivo da correggere.»
Fece una pausa. Poi continuò.
«In Blue Archive, l’innocenza non è ignoranza: è resistenza. Le ragazze combattono, ridono, si affezionano. Ma non hanno ancora svenduto l’anima al cinismo. Non sono ingenue: sono coscienti. Eppure scelgono di credere, di amare, di proteggere. È una forma di insurrezione esistenziale.»
Miyajima annuì, lentamente. «Chizuru protegge la propria immagine. Le tue ragazze proteggono il mondo.»

E lì, tra alcol, fumo e i bicchieri scheggiati, capii che in quel bar parlavano tre uomini di arte come si parlerebbe di ferite: con pudore, ma senza filtri. E nella loro arte, tra carta, pixel e silenzi, si nascondeva ancora un riflesso del vivente. Forse l’ultimo.

Oggi ho guardato di sfuggita il programma dei pacchi sulla rai. Questa coppia di fidanzati in foto, ha raccontato di essersi conosciuta fuori ad un locale ma prima che la relazione andasse in porto, ci sono voluti CINQUE MESI di corteggiamento da parte di lui.
Lo so che non è nulla di strano: molti uomini medi purtroppo devono sottostare a questa strafila — e direi che sono proprio queste le tempistiche per la maggior parte delle coppie affinché si formino.
Cosa accade nello specifico (ATTENZIONE NON MI RIFERISCO ALLA COPPIA IN QUESTIONE MA A CASI SIMILI):
Solitamente in questi casi la ragazza —pur non essendo una gran bellezza— ha più uomini beta che le ronzano attorno in contemporanea e che lei mantiene in attesa. Nel frattempo studia le mosse di ciascuno per capire quale dei beta è abbastanza motivato ed affidabile per un'eventuale relazione "seria". Nel mentre ovviamente continua ad uscire con i bellocci/malesseri conosciuti su tinder o nei locali per scoparseli la sera stessa e dar così sfogo alle pulsioni sessuali più ataviche.
Quando "finalmente" ella decide di mettere la testa a posto, pesca dal mucchio il beta che si è dimostrato più affidabile, motivato e spendaccione nei suoi confronti (regali, cene, viaggi etc.) e che le sarà utile come provider.
Dunque dal punto di vista dell'uomo: cinque mesi di fatica, tempo perso e soldi spesi, per ottenere cosa? Una normobruttina che nel frattempo si è divertita con chi davvero la attraeva? Una donna che come tutte, con ogni probabilità ti renderà la vita un'inferno tra problemi psicologici, insicurezze, corna, leggi che la tutelano in casi di figli, etc..

Questa purtroppo è la vita che tocca all'uomo medio, ma mi chiedo... Ne vale ancora la pena con le donne di oggi?
Per questo motivo oggi il modello di uomo vincente non è certamente il buon padre di famiglia come accadeva negli anni '50, anzi, quello è l'ultimo dei cretini. Il modello vincente oggi non può che essere Chad il quale ottiene sesso e validazione istantanea senza troppo sforzo. Questa è la società che abbiamo creato.

allora ragazzi sono pronto a intraprendere una azione legale ai danni di just eat perchè il mio fottuto kebab doveva essere qui alle 21:25 e ad ora non solo non ho ricevuto la mia cena ma il delivery guy non mi ha ancora mandato un sms di scuse per il ritardo e tutto ciò è ovviamente inaccettabile sopratutto quando si tratta del kebab di sabato sera
