🚀 A 3D Printed Rocket //
The first ever 3D printed Rocket can make it into space this summer. Last week Relativity Space Inc., a Los Angeles-area startup that makes rockets using advanced 3D printing technology, concluded pre-launch testing of its Terran 1 craft.
Terran 1 is built to carry payloads of up to 1,000 kilograms into orbit. The next generation of this model, Terran R, which is currently under development, will be able to lift 20 times morte payload.
The company says its key advantage is the ability to build rockets far more rapidly that its rivals given its 3D-additive production technologies, with more than 90 per cent of the rocket being printed by robots.

🏃♂️ Indian Startup Founders Flock to Dubai //
Recently many Indian entrepreneurs have emigrated to the UAE using its golden visa program, which offers five- and 10-years residency to investors, entrepreneurs, researchers, medical professionals, and outstanding students.
Indian consultants say this is due to heavy regulations on new technologies in the country. India currently charges a 30% tax on any income generated from cryptocurrencies and starting July it will also levy a 1% charge on transfer of digital assets — the first of its kind in the world. Indian entrepreneurs have also been dealing with the issues of double taxation on employee stock ownership plan
This trend could have a long-term impact on India, especially the country’s startup ecosystem that was slowly built over the last decade and became one of the top 20 global startup hubs in the world.

🤨 CEOs Don't Trust Metaverse //
A survey of 400 senior executives conducted by consulting firm Gartner revealed that business executives are quiet ambivalent towards embracing the metaverse. They do not think it will help their companies and rather see AI and environmental sustainability as ways to improve their performance.
“In the past, some CEOs have embraced new technology ideas perhaps a little too enthusiastically. In the case of the metaverse, however, it’s doubtful the respondents who think it very likely to be a key technology for their business are as confident as they appear to be," says Mark Raskino, research vice president at Gartner.

🚗 EV Sales Set to Triple by 2025 //
According to BloombergNEF, electric vehicle sales are poised to more than triple by 2025. This forecast differs from the one the research firm made a year ago due to the massive EV sales in China. Passenger vehicle sales will soar to 20.6 million in 2025, much higher than the 14 million forecast a year ago.
However this number pales in comparison to 1,2 billion internal combustion passenger vehicles currently being used all over the world. The firm predicts that by 2050 two thirds of them will be replaced by zero-emission cars.

There are thousands of cases in Egypt where poor debtors, called gharemat, are unable to meet their obligations for whatever reason. And as a result, they end up behind bars. The amounts can usually be small, but the law provides for a prison sentence of up to three years.
The Emirati collective is asking international artists to create NFTs to sell them for the amount it will cost to pay off the women's debts and release them from prison. However, the main aim of this project is to raise awareness outside Egypt.
