This is an excellent post from solbrah, basically it's about how we need to get off the apps and our phone, I totally agree.
Early on in development a friend asked me about making a self improvement app and how it contradicts the idea that people spend too much time on their devices.
I disagree, the goal of this tool is to motivate and inspire you to pursue things in real life. Only reporting for a short period daily as necessary.
I use the app once a day for five minutes, to record how I went and to satisfy my curiosity how others are progressing.
The goal is to be an app that gets you off the apps.

Mentally reward yourself for completing a habit. This will release dopamine which is your primary motivator in life, this dopamine release will help cement that habit in place.

How many of you would be interested in a last man standing type habit competition?
Eg, wake up everyday at 6am, everyone tries to keep this up as many days as possible, if you miss a day you're out and the last person is the winner

Excellent book summary of the book "Atomic Habits", this was a major motivator for developing the platform. Well worth a watch...
Considering the quotes from the book below you can see the influence for tracking and making consistent gains. FindFlow aims to enhance visualisation and awareness of your progress to boost your consistent gains.
“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become. No single instance will transform your beliefs, but as the votes build up, so does the evidence of your new identity.”
“You should be far more concerned with your current trajectory than with your current results.”
“Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement”
The best way to support us is by improving your life by tracking your growth with FindFlow, our app experience is much faster now, if you used it previously you'll be amazed at the lightning speed differences.

The goal here is to show the results for the previous week or month, instead of all time.
This fits with other parts of the app and the bot, which show a range instead of all records to the beginning of time.
The goal being that it shows current reference for all users and treats each month or week as its own mini period.
Tldr; made more of the app show records by month/week to boost motivation and coopetition.

Amazing, 200 sign-ups. Honestly I'm so grateful for everyone giving the app a go and I'm going to work hard to make it better for you guys with regards to achieving your goals and building community.
I'm looking at some streak display features based on your feedback, and I'm currently trying to formulate the best method to implement that.
I would also like to give a special shout-out to the user who contacted me and said that they're using FindFlow to help them get sober, I think this is the biggest white pill I've ever experienced in my time coding.
Thanks again guys and God bless 💪🙏

We now have a command in the bot to show your /score for the week.
Many of you have been absolutely killing it and so this is a good way to round off the week and give you visual feedback. Simply type in /score in the @findflowbot and it will generate this image for you.
If you guys like I could make it so this automatically gets sent to you at the end of every week also (comment below).
It would make my day for someone to have a go at this command and share their results in the comments.
If you would like to support the project, the best way is to track your growth with FindFlow or share our posts with frens 🌊🌊

Hope everyone is having a good week, apologies for not updating the weekly report on Sunday I had some refactoring todo.
I've updated the calculation so that it factors in unrecorded occurrences.
This gives a much more accurate calculation of everyone's weekly progress.
I wonder who will be first to get the golden week, your weekly report will change when golden 🏆.
