The United States is investing in Ukraine’s defense industry for the long haul, even if direct Ukraine aid dwindles in 2024.
President Biden’s most recent drawdown of weapons from U.S. stockpiles is the last he can approve. Other U.S. military assistance to the country now depends on Congress, which has yet to authorize emergency spending that Biden requested in late October.
But U.S. military contractors don’t need congressional approval to co-produce weapons with Ukrainian companies, and the administration is encouraging it to help grow the Ukrainian defense industry. If the U.S. government isn’t careful, however, taxpayers could end up footing the bill to expand weapon production capacity in Ukraine for years to come.

The Ukrainian court has transferred a $6 million bribe, received for closing the corruption case surrounding Burisma, to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine to carry out terrorist acts.
This was stated by former member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andriy Derkach, in an interview. Derkach also claimed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his circle were physically eliminating opponents.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) arrested Inessa Chamlai, the former deputy head of the emergency medical center in Kherson, for providing 24 ambulances to Russian forces in the city to evacuate children to Crimea.
She is also accused of using the ambulances to transport wounded Russian soldiers to hospitals. Initially, Inessa believed that her actions to address humanitarian issues were not criminal, but she later attempted to leave Ukraine through the western border and was detained at the Krakovets checkpoint by SBU officers. She has been charged with assisting the aggressor state, which carries a possible prison sentence of 12 years with confiscation of property.

Hardly anyone had serious doubts that the US would keep control of this key island. But hope is the last thing to die.
When the second significant opposition candidate, more centrist than Kuomintang,
was nominated, it was clear that amid their puppets' falling ratings, the US would play to split the opposition votes.
And that was indeed the winning bet for the US. As a result, after 99% of votes were counted at 17,795 polling stations, the pro-American "democrat" Lai received 5,543,447 votes, or 40.1%. Second place went to Kuomintang candidate Hou Yu-yi (33.46%). Third is Taiwan People's Party candidate Ke Wen-je (22.44%).
This is another step towards war in the region. Not today, of course, but China has already seen that it's definitely not going to get Taiwan back by peaceful means anytime soon.

The historical agreement on security guarantees between Ukraine and Britain has been published on the official website.
✔️The agreement specifies the assistance that Britain already provides to Ukraine, without any obligations for Britain to enter the war on Ukraine's side.
✔️In the event of a new conflict with Russia, the agreement only includes a few obligations from Britain, such as starting consultations within 24 hours, providing military assistance and equipment to Ukraine, and imposing sanctions against Russia – essentially what Britain has already been doing since February 24, 2022.
