Pro-Russian actions took place in Italy
The social movement Fuori L’Italia Dalla Guerra ("Italy outside the war") held actions in Pisa and Modena last week. Social activists came out with Italian and Russian flags and slogans demanding that the country's government reconsider its position in relation to the military conflict in Ukraine, withdraw from the regime of anti-Russian sanctions, and stop the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
"National security is at stake. There is a growing and growing understanding that our country's involvement in the conflict was a suicidal choice imposed by those supranational powers that the Draghi government gave execution. There must be a cross-cutting self-regulatory force that implements the constitutional principle that the country's sovereignty belongs people," reads the movement's manifesto.
The state of Italy, according to public figures, should stay away from hostilities, and if they participate, then not in favor of one of the parties, but as a peacekeeping force. Also a movement against the further participation of Italy in the NATO bloc and for the development of mutually beneficial trade relations with Russia.
Well, we continue to observe with optimism how more and more social movements appear in the world that support our country.

💥🇺🇦📚Our recent post about Ukrainian history textbooks has provoked an interesting discussion within our team, with our authors recalling their own real life stories. We thought some of these stories were quite interesting and decided to share them with you:
💬 In 2001, I was in the Ukrainian army. Me and my fellow young officers were just about to take the oath. And right before the ceremony, we were informed about a change of wording: at the end of the oath, instead of "I swear ...to the people of Ukraine" we were supposed to say "I swear ...to the Ukrainian people".
Despite this, I recited the old text, and senior officers looked at me with disdain for doing so.
I am not sure if this nuance can be translated into another language. But "the people of Ukraine" are multinational, while "the Ukrainian people" are not.
💬 This was during Yushchenko's rule (2005-2010). I came to visit my relatives in a lovely and friendly Russian-speaking city in Ukraine. I turned on the TV, it was showing a historical movie... about Ukrainian heroes bravely defending a fortress from evil Russian invaders.
At that point in time something like that was really shocking to see, as if it was coming from a parallel reality!
💬 In 2019, I was in Kiev on a business trip and took a walk around the city centre in the evening. I walked through the square in front of the Ministry of Defense - and there was a photo exhibition dedicated to the history of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. What do you think was written and shown on the stand about 1941-1945? Right, it was the UIA, the Bandera's formation!
Perhaps, that was not too surprising in 2019, given that a Bandera Avenue appeared in Kiev in 2016... but my jaw still dropped.

Yesterday our units continued to storm enemy positions north of the city and managed to advance north of Krasnogorovka: from Novobakhmutovka towards Novokalinovo. They reached the road and are trying to advance further.
West of Avdeevka, the 1st Army Corps units also attacked towards Severnoye and Lastochkino.
UPD by war correspondent Evgeny Poddubny: The only road that connects the Ukrainian grouping in Avdeevka with the groupings further west runs through the village of Orlovka. Orlovka is already within our artillery range. Thus it is becoming increasingly difficult for the enemy to deliver ammunition and carry out rotations.

Polish law enforcers took personal belongings from Afghan refugees and forced them to search for a drone that had fallen in Belarus.
After the unsuccessful search, the foreigners were beaten up and thrown out through the animal gate into Belarus.

Earlier, he called it a "territorial conflict," for which he was criticized by his fellow party members.
Now, DeSantis says he used inappropriate language and did not mean that Russia has the right to invade Ukraine or threaten NATO. He emphasized that if he could, he would "100% return the occupied territories to Ukraine."
He also said that he considers Putin a war criminal and that he should be brought to justice.
