📰 Apple has acquired two startups for Vision Pro and Apple Intelligence

1️⃣ TrueMeeting allows users to scan their faces with an iPhone and create an avatar image using AI. The company's official website was shut down in the winter, which hints at the startup's acquisition during that period, although the deal was not officially announced, the information became available from regulatory filings in the EU. TrueMeeting's CommonGround Human AI technology creates a “hyper-realistic digital twin” of the user, which could be implemented in the new version of Persona in visionOS, which was unveiled at WWDC on June 9.

Apple is preparing to launch its next Vision Pro headset as early as this year,

according to a report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

🧠 The main innovation inside is the M4 chip, which will be significantly more powerful than the M2 in the first gen and will add Apple Intelligence support.
