Your mobile phone, (smartphone), also has a motherboard. Usually, the owner cannot add components to a motherboard on a mobile device because everything is soldered in place.

It is not incorrect to call a main board of a mobile device a 'motherboard', but smartphone motherboards are often called 'logic boards'.
