PRAYER

O Almighty Father, we praise Your Holy Name. Thank You that by Your Spirit You caused the Holy Scriptures to be written for our learning. Teach us we pray, to read, learn and inwardly digest with better understanding, all the truths that are contained within Your incredible written Word.

We pray that in Your strength, You would heal us from the sicknesses of this world and grant us justice against our corrupt evil adversaries. Please strengthen us. Protect us and help us fight the enemy as he tries to distract us with his deceptive trickery. Give us wisdom and discernment to recognise any distortions of Scripture or false teachings. Grant us the courage and grace to do Your will and to speak Your loving Word of truth to all who may cross our paths.

We pray that you would stir up within us the fullness and power of Your Holy Spirit as we are guided in our lives by the wise teachings of Your One and Only Son.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Twitter had about 7,500 employees when Musk first took over. Down to a little over 1,000 now, about half are engineers/programmers.

As the truth emerges, it’s looking like many of those 7,500 formerly at Twitter were not technical staff—seems like maybe they were there to censor/edit/manipulate content at the direction of the deep state swamp.

If true, that was a LOT of censorship staff. Something like 5,500 employees for that purpose. Insane.

ChatGPT is a ‘large language engine’ that draws from a big archive of text and generates outputs from statistics, patterns and frequency of words.

It does not ‘think’ the way some people suggest it does.

Let’s stop being afraid of it, being doomers, etc., and start thinking about how we can better participate in the next wave of tech innovation by teaching machines to act with decent American sets of rules.

The network card is the hardware component inside your laptop or desktop computer (or tablet) that connects your device to the outside world.

This connection is usually made to the public internet. However, with the appropriate hardware components, computers can also connect to large LAN (local area networks), mesh networks built around the extended area of a neighborhood, or a local city. Satellite networks such as Starlink are emerging, which remove dependence on traditional land based, wired connections.

The emergence of the technology is interesting but it has a long way to go. It will be a big topic of debate in society from here on.

Used to ask the question, “are people waking up?” which misses the point, because these days, people are consistently waking up to the truth about gov’t corruption, pharma and banking cartels, etc., in other words, yes, over time, there’s a steady drumbeat of people who are waking up.

So the better question is, do you think people are waking up faster than say, a year ago. I know it’s easy to say no, no, no one is because all of us are so frustrated and we wish it would be faster.

Yet with sports players, newscasters collapsing on live TV, people losing their relatives to the jab (one of the hardest things to watch, its so sad), record inflation hitting everyone, the start of congressional inquiries, it seems like there is some momentum that wasn’t there a year, two years ago. The DEC-VT100 terminal, first sold in 1978, became the gold standard for “dumb terminals” — input/output devices with little of their own processing power, used to control remote mainframe and minicomputers.

Many “terminal” applications, even today, when they are using a legacy compatibility mode, will “emulate” a VT-100 with control character sequences. These control character sequences have been the same in the tech industry for more than 40 years, now! 😊

Truly one of the good guys in the history of computing. Dennis Ritchie was the co-creator of the C programming language, roughly the equivalent of spoken business English, in terms of its importance to the computing world.

Dennis was the visionary co-creator of the UNIX Operating System. His vision and talent were unique in the history of technology where he generally always makes “top 10 influential” lists. One of the best engineer/scientists in modern American history.

While he was a master at his trade, he spent most of his life inventing and contributing his knowledge to humanity and did not create much wealth for himself. So the news of his death was not reported anywhere near as much as that of a programmer of mediocre skill, Apple founder Steve Jobs, who passed away a week prior.
