PREPOSITIONAL case for nouns in PLURAL

🔻The Prepositional Case is used after prepositions:

• with the prepositions в and на (on/ in/ at)
• with the preposition о (about)

🔻The endings of the Prepositional plural do not depend on the gender, only on the ending of the noun in Nominative singular.

🔻Let's look at the changes (Nom. ⇒ Prep.) plural:

🔵-consonant -> -cons. + ах
актёр ⇒ актёрах (actors)
Я думаю об актёрах

🔵- а -> -ах
сестра ⇒ сёстрах (sisters)
Я думаю о сёстрах

🔵-о -> -ах
лицо ⇒ лицах (faces)
Я думаю о лицах

🔵-й -> -ях
герой ⇒ героях (heros, characters)
Я думаю о героях

🔵-ь -> -ях
зверь ⇒ зверях (beasts)

❗These Russian nouns use an irregular Prepositional in plural:
