PREPOSITIONAL case for nouns in PLURAL
🔻The Prepositional Case is used after prepositions:
• with the prepositions в and на (on/ in/ at)
• with the preposition о (about)
🔻The endings of the Prepositional plural do not depend on the gender, only on the ending of the noun in Nominative singular.
🔻Let's look at the changes (Nom. ⇒ Prep.) plural:
актёр ⇒ актёрах (actors)
Я думаю об актёрах
сестра ⇒ сёстрах (sisters)
Я думаю о сёстрах
лицо ⇒ лицах (faces)
Я думаю о лицах
герой ⇒ героях (heros, characters)
Я думаю о героях
зверь ⇒ зверях (beasts)

няня ⇒ нянях (nurses, nannies)

❗These Russian nouns use an irregular Prepositional in plural:
• братья (brothers) -> о братьях
• друзья (friends) -> о друзьях
• сыновья (sons) -> о сыновьях
• матери (mothers) -> о матерях
• дочери (daughters) -> о дочерях
• дети (children) -> о детях
• люди (people) -> о людях
