Окро́шка
[ akróshka ]
🔻Okroshka is a cold soup of Russian origin, which probably originated in the Volga region.
🔻The classic soup is a mix of mostly raw vegetables (like cucumbers, radishes and spring onions), boiled potatoes, eggs, cooked meat such as beef, veal, sausages or ham and kvass, which is a low-alcoholic (1.5% or less).
🔻Okroshka is usually garnished with sour cream (smetana).
🔻Later versions that first appeared in Soviet times use light or diluted kefir, whey, ayran, or mineral water instead of kvass.
Have you ever tried or even cooked okroshka❓

Our heartiest congratulations! ❤

🔻Apparently he speaks English so well that he even corrects the translators from time to time.
🔻They also say Vladimir Vladimirovich can speak a bit Tartar. And not only it😉

One of the main events of Perestroika was the first beauty contest in the USSR, “Moscow Beauty 1988”.
🔻For the first time, an award was given not to a leading worker in industry, not to an excellent student, not to an activist, but simply to a beautiful girl.
🔻An ordinary Moscow schoolgirl named Masha was the winner of that contest, who lives in the USA nowadays.
🔻In the last photo there is the winner of "Miss Russia 2023": Margarita Golubeva, a student of two Russian universities. She's a real beauty! Красавица!
