夏天咁熱，真係未必個個會鐘意

我哋之前都同大家介紹過車站通風系統，佢地喺一年四季都會調較去唔同模式，而喺夏天就會將大堂、月台嘅溫度維持喺 27 至 29 度，同時符合政府《營運協議》嘅規定

自疫情開始之初，通風系統多咗用自然通風，將室外新鮮空氣引入車站，氣壓差別會令站內空氣更快流走，使空氣流通量增加，減低病毒傳播嘅機會 🦠 ❌

不過室外嘅空氣呢幾日都有三十幾度，所以多咗新鮮空氣嘅話，站內嘅溫度會比以往略為上升，呢段期間車站大堂、月台亦會按需要加設臨時冷氣機，保持空氣流通，至於車廂就會繼續由機械人幫手加強清洗冷氣濾網 💦

陸續有國家以結束防疫措施為目標，希望香港都可以快啲恢復正常生活，等換咗全新通風系統嘅車站，可以每逢暑假就發揮番全速運轉時應有嘅效能，就算較為繁忙果陣，都可以涼住等到下一班車

We have talked about station ventilation systems before and from there you may remember that the system would be adjusted to different modes throughout the year in different seasons whilst maintaining air temperature roughly between 27 - 29 degrees Celsius as per the Operating Agreement with the Government

Since the pandemic began, natural ventilation has been playing an important role for the system to ingest more fresh air into stations. The pressure difference will push out the air inside the station faster

#宋皇臺 站唔止將現代鐵路網與宋代人文活動交織埋一齊，
仲一同連接咗九龍嘅新舊社區 ↔️ 👥

車站分別有唔同出口連接鄰近啟德發展區嘅世運道，亦有出口通往世運花園

世運道、世運花園嘅名稱緣起自 1964 年 #東京奧運 ，聖火由歐洲傳遞至亞洲時曾途經香港，而啟德機場附近的道路仍在發展，時任港督戴麟趾爵士（Sir David Trench）為紀念呢次盛事，並贊頌奧林匹克精神，於是將聖火途經嘅新街道、新公園冠以當時本港對奧運會嘅稱呼 － 世運

世運花園喺宋皇臺站興建期間，曾因為加建車站出口及防洪閘而一度關閉，及後「 #沙田至中環綫 」嘅工程人員將公園重置咗公園設施，而公園移交俾政府部門後，亦加建升降機等無障礙設施，方便市民即使會否乘搭鐵路，都能夠輕鬆來往唔同街道以及使用康樂設施 🔄 🏞

今年，奧運會喺幾經艱辛後終能再次舉辦，座落嘅城市亦都係東京，期待 46 位本港運動員會喺今屆取得佳績，香港隊加油！

Sung Tong Toi Station does not only bring the modern railway network and the history of Sung Dynasty closer together, it also connects the old communities with the new in Kowloon City ↔️ 👥

There are exits on Olympic Avenue adjacent to Kai Tak Development Area, as well as others serving Olympic Garden

Both Olympic Garden and Olympic Avenue were named after the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo; the torch travelled via Hong Kong as it made its journey from Europe through to Asia. To mark this historic event and to celebrate the spirit of Olympic Games, Sir David Trench, the Governor of Hong Kong at the time, decided to name the new road and the new park that the torch travelled past near Kai Tak Airport “Olympic”

The Olympic Garden was closed temporarily during Sung Wong Toi Station’s construction work to allow a station exit and its floodgate to be built. Engineers of Shatin to Central Link relocated the facilities of the park. Lifts and barrier free facilities are also added there when the park has then hand
