Operates on every Saturday, Sunday and Public holiday from 3/Dec - 15/Jan/2023

🕘 Services will depart Long Ping Station Exit B2 - Long Ping Estate from 09:00 - 14:00

🕐 Then make the return journey at 13:00 - 19:00

Buses will operate at 10 - 20 mins intervals for conveying passengers to Tai Tong and ease the crowd from villages along the route to Yuen Long Town Centre 🍂 👥

市區綫新列車已投入服務一個星期，喺上週呢個時間，港鐵受倫敦運輸局管理合約委託營運嘅伊利沙伯綫（Elizabeth Line），就有一場列車慈善告別活動 👋 🚈

伊利沙伯綫全長 118 公里，得名自已故嘅女皇陛下，分別由 大東方幹線各站停車服務 + 中央營運路段 + 大西方幹線慢綫班車 組成，由東至西貫通英國倫敦中心部分並連接附近城市，被喻為戰後最重要基建投資之一

女皇陛下喺今年 5 月登基白金禧紀念時，到臨揭幕中央營運路段，標誌住三段鐵路共 41 個車站將近完成翻修和投入服務，我地曾以散步方式同大家介紹 ➡️ metroride.hk/3F3RTMB 🎥

同香港嘅鐵路項目相似嘅係，伊莉莎白綫會帶嚟全新列車和訊號系統，新車會分別喺新建路段，以及逾 180 年歷史嘅兩條鐵路幹線服務乘客

因此最初由舊英國國鐵於 1980 年引入，再傳承至自四任鐵路營運商嘅 Class 315 型火車便要退出歷史舞台，鐵路迷團體 Branch Line Society 便與港鐵舉辦兩次慈善告別之旅，參加嘅乘客需經無現金交易方式購票，收益全數撥歸外展照顧離家兒童組織 Railway Children

Class 315 型與同時期生產，東鐵綫嘅電氣化火車機件設計相似，最高車速同為每小時 120 公里，系列中嘅成員亦係每三卡車為一組，駕駛室有可架設逃生木梯嘅緊急出口，針對站距短而需要頻繁加減速嘅車程而製造 🔧⚙️

當日列車來回倫敦中心部嘅 Liverpool Street 車站及雅息士郡嘅 Shenfield 站，並特別駛經幾條貨物列車常用嘅讓車線，車站管理公司以及英國運輸警察亦協助管理人流，俾乘客有時間參觀埋列車駕駛室後合照。稍後，車廂都會運到威爾斯南部作動態保存

而喺香港，由電氣化火車演變成嘅中期翻新列車，隨東鐵綫過海段落成喺感謝之旅後而退役，因應列車目前嘅技術設置，港鐵公司會自行保留 6 卡車廂是為鐵路文物，其他車廂及組件會分別捐贈予學校、政府及非牟利團體作保育用途 🌲
