今年頭九個月就發生咗 430 宗，乘客喺扶手電梯跌倒嘅意外，超過八成都係由差錯腳、行行吓失平衡、俾其他乘客撞倒，同埋俾大型物件壓親所導致 🔍

車站會加派人手提醒乘客安全使用扶手電梯
職員亦會一如以往定期巡查其狀況，例如留意有否外物卡住梯級

逾 200 條較繁忙電梯的運行速度亦已調整，配合各種裝置以提升其安全程度

There were 430 cases of passengers falling from escalators in the first 9 months of this year. Over 80% of these were caused by missteps or bulky objects falling

You will see extra staffing to remind passengers using escalators safely while regular and relevant inspections like checking foreign objects on steps will continue

The pace of >200 busier elevators has also been adjusted with various devices installed to improve safety

喺上水站嘅情況見到，一名乘客喺扶手電梯左邊行走時，撞跌旁邊嘅另一位乘客，繼而導致身後嘅幾位乘客相繼跌倒，其中兩名仲因此轆咗落電梯 😨

Here is the scene at Sheung Shui, a passenger was walking on the left side of the escalator and bumping into a passenger next to him which caused several passengers behind them to fall one after another, some even rolled down the escalator 😨
