Journalists report signs of hunger beginning in the Gaza Strip

Residents in the southern part of the Gaza Strip are facing the threat of full-scale hunger, according to Arab media reports.

According to their information, food supplies are diminishing faster than humanitarian missions can replenish them.

The most acute situation is unfolding in the city of Rafah, where hundreds of thousands of refugees have gathered, and in the northern part of the strip, where humanitarian convoys often do not reach.

If the situation does not improve soon, more than a million residents of the strip will face the threat of full-scale hunger.

Earlier, Israeli forces shelled a column of humanitarian aid being delivered by World Central Kitchen (WCK) staff.

The organisation was forced to suspend the delivery of food to Gaza indefinitely.
