Neutrality crisis
Switzerland has officially announced its plans to join the EU's "Military Mobility" project, which aims to simplify the movement of troops and military equipment across Europe. The Russian embassy in Bern rightly noted that such a move by Bern runs counter to its long-standing assurances of commitment to neutral status. Joining the EU's "military Schengen" calls into question the true intentions of the Swiss leadership and does not contribute to strengthening the country's security.
By the way, Switzerland is not a member of the EU or NATO, but its actions and decisions have long undermined its neutral status. Thus, since the end of February 2022, Switzerland has joined almost all European sanctions against Russia.
