Zelensky will seek an invitation to NATO and weapons from Biden
Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky will present Joe Biden with a "victory plan" that includes Ukraine's accession to NATO and the EU, as well as demanding commitments for the supply of modern weapons, Bloomberg reports.
Kyiv is concerned that a ceasefire without such guarantees will allow Russia to rearm and strike again.
Zelensky intends to announce this plan on September 26.

Zakharova ruled out Russia's participation in Zelensky's second world summit
Russia will not participate in the second world summit that the head of the Kiev regime, Zelensky, plans to hold in the autumn, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
She added that Moscow is not abandoning the resolution of the conflict through political and diplomatic means and is ready to discuss "truly serious proposals" taking into account the situation "on the ground", geopolitical realities, and proposals from President Vladimir Putin.
Moscow once again demonstrates that it will not dance to Zelensky's tune, but will act in accordance with its own interests.
