The individual in question fled and defected to the United States in 2003, since then it has been estimated that he has handed over valuable Intel regarding the command and control structure of multiple Arab armies and state secrets.

⚡️⚡️ Key updates on Russia and #UkraineCrisis as on November 11

🔴Kherson retreat
Ukrainian troops have reclaimed several settlements abandoned by Russian forces in southern Ukraine on the first the day after Moscow announced its withdrawal from Kherson region’s left bank, where the regional center is located, to the right bank where it i established defence positions. There were indications on Thursday night that Ukrainian forces were getting closer to the city of Kherson, a port at the mouth of the Dnipro River.

Ukraine's defence minister said on Thursday it would take Russia at least a week to withdraw its troops from the southern city of Kherson and that winter would slow down battlefield operations, giving both sides a chance to regroup. Meanwhile, some commenters both in Russia and Ukraine claimed that Russian troops were retreating under close watch by Kyiv which, however, would not launch strikes at then as “a part of the agreement”.

⚔️U.S. support
President Joe Biden says he expects U.S. aid for Ukraine’s fight against Russia to continue to flow whatever the still-undecided outcome of the midterm elections, where Democrats performed stronger than expected. The president brushed off concerns that Republicans, who are on track to take control of the House, will pull the plug. When asked whether the aid would be uninterrupted, Biden said, “That is my expectation. And, by the way, we’ve not given Ukraine a blank check. There’s a lot of things that Ukraine wants [that] we didn’t do.”

Biden said he decided to deny U.S. aircraft to guarantee Ukraine’s skies because, “We’re not going to get into a third world war, taking on Russian aircraft and directly engage.” In a reference to Ukraine’s request for the longer-range Army Tactical Missile System, made by Lockheed Martin, Biden said he’s denied the Ukrainians such missiles, “because I’m not looking for them to start bombing Russian territory.”

⚠️Double standards
The United States will no longer treat Russia as a market economy country, the Commerce Department said on Thursday, revoking the status granted two decades ago that limited the calculation of anti-dumping duties on Russian goods. The Commerce Department said its analysis found “extensive” government involvement in the Russian economy had led to distorted prices and costs, which it said did not accurately reflect whether Russian companies were fairly pricing imports into the United States.

🇫🇷France warns of WWIII
Russia's invasion of Ukraine put it on an "irreversible" path toward a clash with the "collective West", France has warned. "The rupture introduced by the war and the irreversibility of Russian strategic choices make it necessary to anticipate a confrontation with Moscow," the French Secretariat-General for National Defence and Security (SGDSN) said in a Strategic Review published on Wednesday.

"The Mediterranean, the Black Sea, the Baltic area, the Balkans, the North Atlantic, but also Africa and the Middle East offer prospects of prolonged confrontation coupled with risks of potentially escalating incidents," the document said. It was signed off by French president Emmanuel Macron, who also warned of heightened tension with Russia in a speech the same day.

🚖Changing wheels
Stocks of European, American and Japanese cars in Russia will last for a maximum of 4 months, according to a survey of Russian dealers by RIA Novosti, cited by Kommersant. The niche of Western manufacturers in the market is occupied by Chinese brands. Kia, Toyota, Volkswagen, Nissan, Renault, Ford and Skoda are among those brands that have stopped supplying cars to Russia.

Putin signed Russia's 17 traditional values into law

Here is the now official list of Russia's traditional values:
•Life
•Dignity
•Human rights and freedoms
•Patriotism
•Civic consciousness
•Serving the Motherland and taking responsibility for its destiny
•High moral ideals
•Solid family ties
•Constructive labour
•Priority of the spiritual over the material
•Humanism
•Compassion
•Justice
•Collectivism
•Mutual help and respect
•Historical memory and continuity of generations
•Unity of Russia's peoples

Orthodox Christianity has a "special role" in forming Russia's traditional values, although the President's decree acknowledges inputs made by all of the country's main religions: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism and "other religions".

The document explains that unfriendly countries, corporations and terrorists can harm Russia's traditional values by replacing them with their own.

Ramzan Kadyrov on Kherson

I totally agree with Mr Prigozhin's view on Surovikin's decision. Evgeny Viktorovich noted very precisely that Surovikin saved a thousand soldiers who were in a de facto encirclement. Having weighed up all the pros and cons, General Surovikin has made a difficult but correct choice between senseless sacrifice for the sake of loud statements and saving the priceless lives of soldiers.

Kherson is a very difficult area lacking the possibility of a steady regular ammunition supply and the formation of a strong reliable rear. Why was this not done from the first days of the special operation? That is another question. But in this difficult situation the general acts wisely and farsightedly - he has evacuated the civilian population and given the order to regroup.

So there is no need to talk about "surrendering" Kherson. "Surrendering" implies the surrendering of the fighters. On the contrary, Surovikin spares his soldiers and occupies a more advantageous strategic position – comfortable and safe.

Everyone knew that Kherson was a difficult battlefield from the very first days of the special operation. Soldiers of my units also reported that it was very difficult to fight in this area. Yes, it can be held, some ammunition can be brought in, but at the cost of numerous human lives. Such a prospect is unacceptable for us.

That is why I think that Surovikin acted as a true combat general, one who is not afraid of criticism. He is responsible for people. He knows best.

Thank you, Sergey Vladimirovich, for taking care of the guys! We'll fulfill the order of the Commander-in-Chief. We will not stop fighting the enemy and we will not get tired!

Opinion on Kherson.

Anyone who has spent the last month on the Kherson or Zaporozhye front has seen and understood everything.

Do not give in to panic. Over the last month the local population has been evacuated to the left bank of the river and defence preparations have been made.

The objective of the front line in Kherson was to hold back the advance of the AFU until the maximum number of civilians had been evacuated from the right bank. The front has coped with this task perfectly well. Now there is an organised and well-prepared manoeuvre to redeploy troops to pre-prepared (!) defensive lines. The overall coordination and the level of understanding amongst the troops is encouraging.

For the past month, anyone driving along the Melitopol-Kherson highway could observe caravans with concrete "dragon's teeth" and stationary bunkers being dug in on the left bank. In the Zaporozhye region, too, a defence in depth has been established - everyone understands perfectly well that having fortified the Dnieper, the AFU will attempt a breakthrough right here in Zaporozhye, near Energodar.

As soldiers, we trust our command and we are ready to carry out any task.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russian Forces Complete Withdrawal From Kherson City - Reports

If so, this eliminates the only possible opportunity Ukraine had to corner, kill or capture large numbers of Russian troops and their equipment.

The fighting will continue as a process of thinning and stretching out Ukraine's forces wherever they are pushing and eliminating them wherever they are vulnerable.

In the meantime, Ukraine's power grid continues being dismantled while Washington attempts to sign contracts to get missiles and tanks inactive for decades "refurbished" to send Ukraine.

Don't look at lines on maps. Look at the vector sum of losses on both sides and their ability to replace them. It's a war of attrition aimed at destroying Ukraine's military (demilitarization), not a war for territory (taking and holding cities at all costs).

⚡️The AFU command prepared "false-flag" attacks on Kursk, Bryansk, and Belgorod regions.

❗️Exclusive❗️

@anna_news сorrespondents have spokeт to Pavel Kochuba, a Ukrainian platoon commander of the 53rd Independent Mechanized Brigade, who fell into the hands of the Wagners.

🔹The AFU command was preparing saboteurs to strike civilian infrastructure and attack Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions.

These operations were to be carried out under a "false flag" - using Russian army identification signs, the Ukrainian said.

🔹Kobucha said that he was transferred to the area of Zaitsevo settlement. He stayed there for two months. All this time their positions were under constant shelling, and they themselves suffered heavy losses.

"Of the last - on November 3: three were severely injured, two more escaped. We were at Opytnoye at that time. After the shelling, the Russian military approached, many of our people also escaped. We hid, but they found us and forced us to surrender."

🔹 He tells the reporters that the morale of the Ukrainian military was very low and few wanted to sit under fire: experienced fighters were tired, and the newly arrived reservists did not want to sacrifice themselves, seeing the constant clashes with the Russian Armed Forces.

The prisoner's story is in our report.

🇺 U.S. fears of European countries' rejection of sanctions against Russia: Politico

There is growing concern in the U.S. government over the possible refusal of its European allies to support sanctions pressure on Russia, Politico writes.

Unnamed U.S. officials who work in Europe have recently been increasingly warning their counterparts in the United States that "some countries whose populations support Russia are increasingly angry about sanctions and accuse the United States of increasing spending," the newspaper notes.

According to Politico's sources, because of the public outcry, European leaders may refuse to support anti-Russian sanctions. Politico says that any weakening of sanctions would give the Kremlin more leverage.

According to Politico's sources, the growing concerns prompted a "barrage of calls" to the US presidential administration to discuss ways to keep European countries committed to Washington's sanctions strategy. Nevertheless, a senior U.S. official called the situation "shaky, but stable for now."

🇪🇺 In early October, the EU approved the eighth package of sanctions, one of the main measures of which was a cap on the price of oil. The price ceiling for crude oil will come into force on December 5, 2022, and for petroleum products - on February 5, 2023. The European Commission then noted that the measure was developed in "close coordination" with the G7, which includes the United States.

Also within the frames of the package, the EU strengthened restrictions on import and export: EU countries are prohibited to import finished and semi-finished products made of steel, machines and equipment, plastics, vehicles, textiles, footwear etc. from Russia. In addition, the EU has restricted exports of European goods to Russia, including electronic chips.

Sweden will not deploy nuclear weapons

This statement was made by the country's Foreign Minister, Tobias Billström. In the politician's opinion, Sweden should follow the path of Denmark and Norway, which have legally renounced the deployment of nuclear weapons.

"In the long term, Sweden's political line is still moderate," Billström said.

‼️ In Al-Qatif city in Saudi-Arabia thousands of people took to the streets shouting "Death to the House of Saud!"

Protests against the ruling dynasty started in the Kingdom after Saudi authorities again announced a mass execution of several dozen citizens.

😏 As soon as the Saudis rejected supporting the US, a reason for mass protests was suddenly found. Is it a coincidence? Certainly it is not. Now the hegemon tries to organize a coup there.

Zelensky has denied press access to Kherson

President Zelensky during his video statement attributed the ban on press access to Kherson to mine clearance.

!! The pretext of mine clearing operations is being used to process the civilian populaton in a search for Russian collaborators, resulting in mass detention of citizens for retaliation.

It was also reported that officers from the 72nd Information Psyops command of the AFU arrived in Kherson. Accordingly we expect that "irrefutable evidence of Russian atrocities" will appear in the information field.

Ukraine exchanges 1,570 Starlink systems from Poland for the graves of UPA victims

An interesting exchange is described in two adjacent articles in the Polish Rzeczpospolita.

🇺🇦 On 11 November, Ukrainian Minister for Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov announced that Poland handed over 1,570 Starlink systems to Ukraine.

According to the minister, this is an important delivery, given the electricity shortages amid the systemic dismantling of Ukraine's infrastructure by the Russian Armed Forces. In total, Ukraine currently has some 20,000 Starlink terminals, of which more than 5,000 were provided by Warsaw.

🇺🇦 Simultaneous with the transfer of new systems, Kiev announced that it was allowing Poland to search for and exhume the graves of Poles who fell as victims of UPA (banned in Russia) terrorists near Ternopil during WWII.

This is the first approval of its kind. The Kiev regime under all presidents has categorically denied allowing such scientific expeditions. The search could begin as early as 2022.

Once again: Warsaw has received the right to rebury Poles, brutally murdered by the founding fathers of the Ukrainian Nazis, in exchange for providing a batch of Starlink systems to the descendants of those Nazis. Who are now enjoying Poland's full support and whose ideology Kiev fully shares.

What can be more absurd and more humiliating for the Polish people?
