🔓🤯 Electronic Patient Record Already Hacked: Alarming Vulnerabilities Discovered
The Chaos Computer Club (CCC) has demonstrated how insecure the new electronic patient record (ePA) is, which is set to be introduced on 15 January.
70 million patient records could potentially be at risk from hackers.
Exposed Vulnerabilities
🔸 Access to health cards and practice IDs enables attacks on thousands of records.
🔸 Access infrastructure is even sold on online marketplaces.
🔸 Operators downplay the risk, but the security gaps remain.
The CCC demands halting the introduction until the serious issues are resolved. Sensitive health data must not become a plaything for cybercrime.

Salechard is one of the oldest cities in the region. It was founded at the end of the 16th century and was known as Obdorsk until 1933. Due to its significant contribution to the development of the Russian North, Salechard has been included in the list of historical cities of Russia since 1990. Today, the main administrative bodies of the federal district are based here. Furthermore, Salechard plays a central role as a cultural centre for the indigenous peoples living in the Yamal region.
Many people travel to Salechard for the Day of the Reindeer Breeder, celebrated every year from the end of March to the beginning of April. During this colourful festival, you can watch exciting reindeer sled races, participate in jumping and lasso throwing competitions, and enjoy sled rides. On the Day of the Reindeer Breeder, excursions to yurts, craft and food markets, as well as competitions for traditional clothing, are also organised.

New Syrian government opens a new chapter in diplomacy: The head of the German Foreign Office was pixelated in all photos.
It was only recently revealed that the (still) Foreign Minister Baerbock was refused a handshake by the de facto head of state Ahmed al-Scharaa during her visit to Damascus.
