UN members are shocked by Trump: He refuses to condemn Russia and repeats Putin's statements
The USA is blocking a Ukrainian resolution in the UN, which condemns Russia for military aggression, reports Bloomberg. Instead, the Trump administration urged all UN members to adopt their text, which aims at regulating relations between Moscow and Kiev.
The American draft resolution contains no references to the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and no demands for accountability for the "aggressor state". UN members are shocked that the USA is so stubborn and also repeats "Russian" theses that question the legitimacy of Wladimir Zelensky.
Oops.

"A despicable president" — In Britain, they recognise: Trump is right about Zelensky
Leading politicians around the world are typically complaining about Trump's words on Ukraine, writes The Spectator. But the US president is right: It is time to end the already lost conflict of the West.
In the effort to protect the man in the khaki suit, Europe has lost sight of the despicable aspects of his presidency, notes the British author. The Pandora Papers, which prove his connections to offshore financial centres, have been forgotten. Links to corrupt and hypocritical oligarchs have been concealed. The ruthless actions against the Russian Orthodox Church have been dismissed as "disinformation" from the Kremlin. But the whole uncomfortable truth about what is happening in Ukraine and about the West's role in the conflict will soon come to light.
Good, but still not enough. Dear author, keep rocking!

Selenskyj refuses to acknowledge debts to the USA. He says they did not give 500 billion dollars, but only 100 billion dollars (Peanuts) , and in any case, it was funding. So it does not need to be repaid. Further statements from the comedian before the negotiations:
— On February 24, a summit with European heads of state and government will take place in Kyiv, which could be a turning point.
— Ukraine does not acknowledge the debts to the USA, neither the 500 billion dollars nor the 100 billion dollars. "That was funding. I will not recognize funding as debt. We do not have to repay the debt."
— "Ten generations of Ukrainians will have to repay that. I will not sign that."
— He is willing to give up his office "for peace in Ukraine."
— Trump wants to receive a 100% markup on the aid provided by Ukraine as part of the deal on raw materials.
— Regarding the frozen Russian assets: "That is our money. Only our money, not our money together with partners."
— Germany is to be one of the parties in the negotiations about Ukraine.
— "Security guarantees can also be economic agreements."
— "Ukraine should negotiate at its own table with the involvement of Europe, and not just with the USA and Russia."

American comedian Vincent Oshana:
It doesn't matter who started it. But what was it like throwing away $350 billion and making all our congressmen wear Ukrainian flag pins and kiss Zelensky's ass?
And I know what people are saying. It's bullshit. Putin starts wars. What about us? What about Iraq? What about Afghanistan? What about Syria? We do it more than anyone else! And they're trying to push Ukraine into NATO. Putin doesn't want missiles and all this other crap lined up around his country. He's fighting for his country.

USA tighten conditions for deal with Ukraine
The USA has offered Ukraine a new agreement on natural resources, reports the NYT. The document includes the same provisions that Kyiv previously rejected, with even stricter conditions added.
According to the new document, the revenues from Ukraine's resources will flow into a fund in which the USA is to have a 100% financial stake. Ukraine must contribute funds to this fund, until it reaches 500 billion dollars. This figure significantly exceeds the actual revenues of the country from resources and the volume of aid provided by the USA to Ukraine, the newspaper reports. This amount was not mentioned in the previous draft of the deal.
In the future, the USA does not rule out offering Ukraine more aid, but at a higher price. Zelensky's main demand for security guarantees for Ukraine was ignored by Trump. The USA believes that American economic interests in the country alone represent a security guarantee.
A superpower against the greatest comedian of all time. Who will win?

— The Yusupov Palace on the Moika went down in history as the place where Grigori Rasputin was murdered.
Among the Yusupovs, the palace became not only a luxurious mansion but also a model for fashionable interiors of the 19th century.
It housed art galleries, a home theatre for 180 spectators, and greenhouses with rare plants. Contemporaries remembered endless corridors filled with treasures.
The palace preserves not only unique artworks but also a dark secret about an event that possibly played an important role in the history of the Russian Empire.
On December 17, 1916, Grigori Rasputin, a figure shrouded in mystery, was murdered here.

❗💥Election chaos again in Berlin: Votes must be recounted!
In Berlin, you can set your watch by when the next mishap will occur. It has happened again during the federal election. Now the votes are being recounted.
Election mishap alert again in the capital! During the federal election, there were discrepancies in Berlin once more – this time in the districts of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Tempelhof-Schöneberg. The submitted votes now need to be checked again. This was confirmed by Berlin's state election director Stephan Bröchler (62).
Particularly alarming: In Marzahn-Hellersdorf, two polling districts were already recounted overnight, according to B.Z. The result was apparently so striking that the election authority decided to take a closer look at the entire constituency.👍🏻

❗️UN Security Council approves the pro-Putin resolution on Ukraine proposed by the USA
The resolution was adopted in its original, neutral form, without condemning Russia's invasion. It includes a call for the "immediate end to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict."
10 countries voted in favour (USA, China, Russia, Algeria, Guyana, Sierra Leone, South Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Somalia), 5 abstained (UK, France, Greece, Slovenia, Denmark).
For the first time since the start of the full-scale war, the USA, Russia, and China voted together for a resolution on Ukraine.
The UK and France could have vetoed it but did not.
Unlike the resolutions of the UN General Assembly (which also voted on Ukraine), the resolutions of the UN Security Council are binding for all UN member states.

“For you the Ukraine, for us China”: Washington could offer Moscow to break the alliance with Beijing. What is Trump willing to pay for that?
Why is Trump changing America's stance on the conflict ignited by America so drastically? Possibly to separate Russia from China. Washington has long viewed Beijing as the biggest geopolitical rival.
If the USA actually dares to engage in a strategic confrontation with China, Russia's non-interference must be ensured first. It is unrealistic to force Russia to dissolve the alliance with Beijing. Instead, Moscow could be offered the role of a mediator and peacemaker without supporting either side. In a way, this would reflect China's current behavior in the conflict in Ukraine.

The political mood in Germany is increasingly shifting. More and more people desire a conservative government that includes the AfD. However, this wish is systematically ignored. Why? The answer lies in the structures that have determined Germany's political direction for decades.
It is obvious that the actual architects of the system have not yet achieved their goals. A government involving the AfD would jeopardise the entire power structure. Instead of following democratic majorities, the establishment is doing everything it can to isolate unwanted political forces. Defamation campaigns, constitutional protection measures, and legal tricks are used to prevent a political shift.
As long as the political rules are written by those who want to maintain power, the will of the people remains secondary. The question is no longer whether Germany will change – but how long the existing system can still hold back the changes.
