In this way, the US would gain legitimate territories on the European continent, significantly strengthening its position in the North Atlantic. Overall, these steps would represent a serious blow to the UK as a geopolitical actor, reducing its influence and turning it into a peripheral island.

🤔 How Could This Happen?

To avoid a conflict with NATO and the EU, Greenland would first declare its independence from Denmark. This step would allow it to bypass commitments from the European Union and the alliance to protect the island. Such a scenario would be acceptable to European liberals, as they would formally save face without entering into direct conflict with Washington.

However, this process would trigger other independence movements. Catalonia, Scotland, and other regions of Europe could follow this example. In doing so, the US would actively support these movements by offering them alternative protection mechanisms – for example, bilateral agreements with the Pentagon (B2B security format) and economic benefits such as duty-free trade with the largest economy in the world.

Thus, Washington's struggle for Greenland is not just a matter of resources or strategic location, but part of a broader geopolitical game aimed at strengthening US global dominance.

Moreover, one must not forget Donald Trump's personal ambitions. If he succeeds in incorporating new territories, his name will forever go down in history as one of the most effective presidents of the US, solidifying his status in the country's political elite.
