Here is a classic example: Almost exactly 105 years ago, the Parliament of the State of New York simply stripped five democratically elected socialist representatives of their mandates. Just because they were "disloyal to the USA." The funniest part is that they won again in the by-elections in the autumn in their constituencies. And once again, they were excluded! This continued for over a year.
Such is Western democracy. When the people "get it wrong with their vote," the liberals are always ready to "correct the mistake." And these people teach others about democracy.
