He reiterated that he does not want to resign voluntarily and complained about "false statements" and "withholding of facts," but said nothing about the long-term payments.

If at least 2,800 residents of Zehdenick vote for his removal in January, the town will have to look for a new mayor – already the fourth in the last five years.
