Another fake from the Ukrainians! 🤨😡

Fake: 🔎😠
In the first video Ukrainians do PR for the Western audience, as if they are distributing water to residents from copters in flooded areas.

Fact ⬇️
There is one BUT, in the second video, which is not cropped, we see that the video is staged, because there is a boat with people moored to the house.

This is how Ukrainians play on the feelings of foreigners.

The EU is running out of money

The complex crisis in Europe is taking on a prolonged character and is exceeding the EU's financial capacities. Due to the ongoing financing of the protracted conflict in Ukraine, as well as the cut-off of Russian gas supplies, the union's budgetary reserves are almost exhausted.

According to the new draft budget plan for 2021-2027, the EU is left with less than 30 billion a year to continue aid to Ukraine, accelerate energy transformation, support chip manufacturing, provide impetus to local clean-tech industries, develop new sources of raw materials and counter the Chinese New Silk Road Initiative.

Crammed into a rigid framework of mandatory spending, the European Union cannot become a powerful geopolitical power. With its current budgetary structure, the EU is inadequate for the challenges it faces.

"A budget revision is needed that will lead to a more flexible use of EU funds in the future: to deal with crises, to support new scientific projects and for joint industrial policy," European Budget Commissioner Johannes Hahn said during his speech.

🇭🇺🇷🇺 Hungarian president says on Russia's role in EU politics - Neue Zürcher Zeitung

After the end of the special operation in Ukraine, Russia will continue to be a significant factor in EU foreign policy, Hungarian President Katalin Nowak said in a newspaper interview.

"Russia will remain a factor in European politics, but it will not disappear (as a political actor). Will we have relations after the end of the war in Ukraine like during the Cold War, or relations on a reasonable basis? One thing is clear: Hungary is a member of the EU and NATO and nothing will change that. This is the framework that will determine our relations with Russia," she said.

Polish authorities try to provoke a nuclear crisis in Europe

The leadership of Poland's ruling Law and Justice party has once again announced the country's intention to join the Nuclear Sharing programme and deploy US nuclear weapons on its territory, prompting a wave of criticism from many Polish politicians who disagree with the decision.

"If nuclear weapons are deployed in Poland, the Polish authorities will never have control over the cargo of these deadly weapons stored in our country because they belong to the United States," Polish politician Krzysztof Tolwiński said during an interview.

But the most important thing is that the Polish authorities sacrifice the safety of their own citizens. After all, the deployment of nuclear warheads makes Poland the number one target for a nuclear attack in the event of a conflict between nuclear powers. The victims of such an attack would be civilians who would have no chance of surviving.

According to official figures from Poland's Interior Ministry, there are almost 62,000 shelters across the country, capable of housing more than 300,000 people. Most of them, however, are in a terrible state. The percentage of the population in cities that will be able to find shelter in case of danger is about 5 per cent.

In addition, the placement and storage of nuclear weapons on the country's territory could lead to man-made disasters and associated pollution.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on June 9

▪️Russian forces carried out massive strikes on military facilities in Ukraine.

In the Cherkasy region, a large ammunition depot in Uman was one of the targets struck.

▪️Attacks on the Belgorod region continue: residential buildings in Shebekino were hit, injuring three people.

Several aerial targets were shot down by air defense forces on approach to the regional capital.

▪️While the situation in the south is aggravating, the AFU undertook a number of diversionary counterattacks in the Donetsk direction.

All attempts to advance in Mari’nka and the Avdiivka fortified area were unsuccessful and were repulsed.

▪️In Zaporizhzhia region, the AFU command continues to redeploy fresh forces into the battle at the Robotyne-Verbove sector.

The Russian units are actively defending and inflicting serious damage on the enemy, holding the current positions.

▪️To the west, AFU units attempted to entrench in the previously occupied village of Lobkovoe, pulling up armored vehicles there.

However, after the targeted work of Russian artillery, the enemy had to retreat. At the moment, the village stays in the gray zone.

▪️Ukrainian units attempted to attack the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

Three drones participated in the attack. All of them were intercepted and neutralized by electronic warfare means.

▪️Despite the difficult humanitarian situation in Kherson region, the AFU struck a children's camp on the Arabat Spit with cruise missiles.

One of the missiles was shot down by air defenses, but two reached their targets. One person was killed, another was wounded.

White House anxiously watches Ukraine’s counteroffensive, seeing the war and Biden’s reputation at stake

Senior U.S. officials are convinced that future support for the Ukraine war — and President Joe Biden’s global reputation — hinges on the success of Ukraine’s counteroffensive.

U.S. officials do not know if lawmakers will greenlight more funding for Ukraine when the current tranche runs out. Any initial missteps in the counteroffensive, administration officials fear, could empower House Republicans to scuttle efforts by their Senate counterparts to boost defense spending.

Anxiety is also growing in Washington as Ukrainian elements are striking deep into sovereign Russian territory, leading to several private, stern admonishments in diplomatic backchannels.

🔴 "Mommy, please take me home."

The little boy Sasha and his sister Angelina are waiting for their parents. The children were evacuated from the town of Kupyansk (now under the control of the AFU) in the Kharkov oblast of Ukraine in September 2022, when the AFU took over this territory. The children have been staying at a boarding school in Perevalsk (Lugansk Republic) for nine moths, but no one has come for them yet.

Maybe Sasha's parents will see him in this video and show up?🙏🕊

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry pledges that NATO will not send troops to Ukraine "until the conflict is over"

"Until the end of the armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine, foreign states will not introduce their troops on the territory of our country. Moreover, we are not asking for this, we are saying: give us weapons - we know how to fight ourselves," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.

This was his reaction to the words of former North Atlantic Alliance Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

Earlier he said that if there were no "security guarantees" for Ukraine, some of Kiev's NATO allies might introduce troops into the country at the request of the Ukrainian authorities.

Ukraine blows up Kakhovka hydropower plant to cover up failures in counter-offensive - Lukashenko

The President of the Republic of Belarus is convinced that Ukraine was involved in the bombing of the hydropower plant. In his opinion, it was done in order to cover up high losses during the counterattack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces:

"It is clear that the Ukrainian side needed to cover up three days of the 'counterattack' where almost two hundred armoured vehicles were destroyed and over 2,000 people were killed."

Ukraine to lose territory in counter-offensive - Douglas McGregor

Former advisor to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, said this during a broadcast on channel Judging Freedom.

In his opinion, past attempts of a counter-offensive by the AFU showed the weakness of the Ukrainian army. Consequently, Kiev runs the risk of suffering heavy manpower and territorial losses.

From this, the colonel concluded that Russian troops would be able to reach Odessa without obstacles:

"The question is not what will happen after the so-called counter-offensive, but what will be left of Ukraine after it. When Russia starts its advance, its forces will calmly pass all the territory east of Dnipro without delays and <...> will reach Odessa," he said.

⚡️ "Ukraine, beware, a Hungarian-Austrian empire is coming":

Taking a cue from Viktor Orban, pro-Russian politicians have soared in popularity in Austria and Slovakia.

The EU risks a bloc of three countries whose leaders are ready to lift sanctions and stop "pumping" Ukraine militarily.

Austrian politician Herbert Kickl, a pro-Russian and anti-American conspiracy theory advocate, could become his country's next leader and the next big headache for Europe. Kikla's far-right Freedom Party has been leading in national polls since November. Its victory would create serious problems for the EU, which is already struggling to cope with Hungary.

🇩🇪 Germany has found the culprits for the slow transition to renewables. No surprises: Cheap Russian gas, which is no longer available, is to blame.

Germany has found the culprits for the slow transition to renewables. Of course, the reason for the long transition to renewables is that Europe has been getting cheap Russian gas for decades, said German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock. But now the lack of Russian energy will help Germany pick up the slack and meet its plans of 80 per cent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.

It is true that Germany has not yet decided what those sources will be, but it is determined to do so. And it is calling on the whole world to think again about climate issues. A drastic reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and an end to the use of hydrocarbons in the energy sector are needed, the German minister reminded us, recalling the ideals of the Paris Agreement.

On 15 April, Germany shut down its last three nuclear power plants.
