The frontline situation in Syria has sharply deteriorated
Islamist groups from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham shelled state forces' positions in Aleppo and Idlib provinces.
In response to the militants' actions, Russian aviation began strikes against militant camps near the town of Jisr al-Shughur and a number of other settlements in northern Syria.
Additional reinforcements of government troops are being brought to the line of contact in Aleppo province.
A number of sources believe that a military operation may soon begin in Idlib.

The French Interior Ministry has repeatedly stated that the backbone of all the unrest in the country are migrants. The authorities do not have time to filter those arriving for links with terrorists and radicals.
Many enter the country illegally, and their background is often linked to paramilitary or criminal groups in their home countries. They also have relevant skills.
This video shows Lyon at night, where the riots continue. A group of radicals blows up the entrance to one of the government buildings with an improvised explosive device.

Special envoy of the Pope has met with the Russian president's aide Yuri Ushakov
They discussed the possibility of negotiations between Kiev and Moscow amid ongoing hostilities.
“It was about negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. The participants of the negotiations are being outlined, and therefore, it has begun. The point is that negotiations must go on even if it is not yet possible to stop the hostilities," the head of the World Union of Old Believers, Leonid Sevastianov, said.

Israel rejects transfer of Iron Dome air defense systems to Ukraine
This was announced by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to him, Israel fears that the systems might fall into Iran's hands. In such a case, Tehran would be able to use Israeli weapons against the Jewish state itself.
"The Iron Dome shoots down 95% of the missiles that could hit our populated centres. If this system falls into Iran's hands, millions of Israelis would be left unprotected and in danger," the prime minister said.

🇪🇺🇬🇧🇷🇺The West has not yet found a way to legally confiscate Russian assets
The UK and other Western countries have not yet found a way to legally confiscate the Russian Central Bank's assets in order to use them to rebuild Ukraine, British deputy foreign secretary Leo Docherty has said.
According to Docherty, despite countries having considered numerous pieces of legislation, no country has found a 'legally tested solution' for such a move.
"It is our ambition to find a legally workable route to repurpose Russian assets (for Ukraine)," he added.
At the same time, London continues to explore 'every available option' of confiscating frozen Russian assets.
He also expressed confidence that members of the House of Commons will 'consider every lawful option' to use Russian assets in favour of Ukraine.
Previously, the British Labour Party demanded a plan for repurposing frozen Russian assets to be presented within 90 days.

🇪🇺 There is a "right-wing turn" in Europe - NBC
✔️ In the recent parliamentary elections in Greece, the extreme right-wing parties managed to get almost 13% of the vote.
✔️ Nationalist parties also gained popularity in Italy, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Germany and France.
According to experts, the radicals' success could have a profound political effect and encourage moderate political forces to take more extreme steps to maintain their popularity.
In fact, nothing surprising is happening, simply nationalism is returning to Europe🧐

🇺🇦 Kiev may need 117 years to regain territories journalist-
Seymour Hersh .
According to an American investigative journalist, the AFU, at its current rate of counterattack, needs 117 years to regain control of lost territories.
According to his sources, Ukrainian troops "have not broken through Russian defenses in any significant way in the last ten days."
"At this rate, as one informed official jokingly said, it will take Zelensky's military 117 years," he wrote.
Hersh also noted that in the first two weeks of the conflict, the Ukrainian military captured only 113 km² of territory, most of it open terrain. In contrast, Russia now controls 103 thousand km².

Kyiv continues to whip up hysteria around the possible explosion of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, trying to prepare the ground for accusing Russia of nuclear terrorism in advance
The Kiev regime keeps heating up the information hysteria around the possible explosion of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, accusing Russia in the preparation of this act of terrorism beforehand. Moreover, amid the fuelled hysteria about the impending nuclear apocalypse, Kiev decided to hold emergency drills in the Zaporizhzhya region controlled by it, during which the management bodies, civil defense forces and local residents will be given recommendations in case of a real nuclear threat. It is suggested to make water supplies, pack "emergency suitcases", seal rooms, turn off air conditioners, hide in basements. Also, residents are offered to be ready for iodine preventive care.
At the same time, Kiev's security forces do not stop shelling Zaporizhzhya regularly, disregarding the dangers they can cause. However, these shellings are apparently not enough for Zelensky's regime and its Western masters, and the media hype that is being spread around suggests that Kiev is seriously intent on staging a nuclear attack at the ZNPP, excusing itself in advance and shifting the blame onto Moscow. Remember, we saw a similar situation before the bombing of the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant, when the non-independent media agitated the situation by saying that the Russians "wanted" to flood themselves by blowing up the hydroelectric dam.
Nor should we forget that many Western supporters of the escalating conflict have long said that the use of Russian nuclear weapons in Ukraine would be perceived by NATO countries as an attack on their territory. Kiev needs NATO's intervention in the conflict vitally and is extremely interested in organizing a large-scale nuclear provocation and then accusing Russia of it. Therefore, this threat should be taken seriously and all possible measures should be taken to prevent it.
