❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on July 7
▪️In the Starobil's'k direction, the enemy made a number of attempts to attack Russian positions.
In the Svatove sector, the AFU attacks were repulsed near Karmazynivka, Makiivka and Balka Zhuravka.
▪️To the south, the AFU attempted to counterattack in the area of the Tors'ke salient and the Serebryansʹkyy forestry.
Nevertheless, Russian units hold their defensive lines in this section of the front.
▪️North of Bakhmut, the AFU command also took a tactical pause to redeploy reinforcements to the combat zone.
Russian troops are strengthening their defenses in previously liberated territories, preparing to repel new attacks by the AFU.
▪️To the south, fierce fighting continues for tactical heights and strongholds near Klishchiivka.
Russian forces launched a series of counterattacks to improve positions around the settlement.
▪️Near Horlivka, the AFU attempted to attack Russian positions near the Mayorsʹka station.
The AFU was unsuccessful and retreated after losing several armored vehicles.
▪️In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the AFU command continues to send troops to storm the Russian defenses in the villages of Zhereb'yanky and Robotyne.
However, even at the cost of significant losses, the AFU fails to expand its zone of control in the area of these settlements.
▪️In the Kherson direction, enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups landed near the village of Krynky and near the Antonovsky bridge.
Russian units are attempting to destroy the AFU landing force.

Geologist, Professor Ian Plimer - about the fakeness of global warming:
We can look back and see that we had six great ice ages. During this ice age, the ice expands - this is a glaciation, or shrinks - this is an interglacial.
During our last interglacial period, sea levels were about 7 meters higher, temperatures were about 5 degrees warmer. Therefore, if someone says that today is the hottest day in history, one must ask: since when? If we look at the peak of the interglacial, which was about 4000 years ago, the temperature was about 5 degrees warmer. If we fast forward to Jesus' time when it was warm, it's about 4 degrees colder now than it was then. If we look back to the Dark Ages, to the Viking Age, the climate has really warmed up since then. If we turn to medieval warming, then since then the climate has cooled. And if we move on to the Little Ice Age, then since then the climate has warmed again. So when do you count? And I know it will surprise you, but we just got out of the Little Ice Age. What do you think the temperature will do? Fall or rise? She is growing.
These six great ice ages began when there was more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere than there is now. There is 0.4% of this gas in the atmosphere right now, and we hear words like emissions. This means nothing to me, because the carbon dioxide content of the atmosphere has changed by more than 20% until today, which is very little for geological time. If we halved its content, all plant life would die. And the animals would die.

Polish fans collect money and give it to the Russian military. The question "why" is answered by "fuck Bandera".
At the moment Poles are actively collecting money for the "Moscow" battalion of the 106th Guards Airborne Division. In addition to Poles, fan movements from Serbia and Greece are actively collecting money.
It reminds me of the International of the second half of the twentieth century. Solidarity of the workers. A good theme, yes.
And anyway... as far as the Poles are concerned, I have to say one little thing. We have a complicated mutual history, complicated mutual politics, but! There are a number of issues on which Poles will always be principled, for which I retain my respect for them.
Note: we won't stop joking and mocking each other anyway, but that's because we are relatives.

Peskov denied reports that Xi Jinping had warned Vladimir Putin against using nuclear weapons
"This is fiction," the Russian presidential spokesman said.
▪️ The British Financial Times earlier published an article claiming that the conversation about the unacceptability of nuclear weapons took place during the Chinese leader's visit to Moscow.
▪️ Several NATO countries also said that if Russia used nuclear weapons, strikes would be launched against positions of the Russian Armed Forces.

Reuters: Britain's health service is in crisis
Supermarket group Tesco, Britain's largest employer, offered its employees virtual appointments with a private family doctor. This, Reuters writes today, is "further evidence of the pressure gripping the country's National Health Service (NHS)."
The nation's largest retailer is trying to motivate employees (the company employs 310,000 people). But behind this encouragement are disappointing numbers.
So, last year, only half of those who needed same-day appointments were able to get them. Every month in England, almost five million patients wait more than two weeks for an appointment with a general practitioner.

Former U.S. officials held secret talks on Ukraine with people close to the Kremlin.
According to NBC News, the goal of the talks was to end the conflict in Ukraine.
The participants of the meeting were not disclosed. The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, several people close to the Kremlin, as well as former U.S. officials and experts presumably participated in the talks.
The agenda of the meeting included the fate of the liberated territories and the search for a diplomatic solution to the conflict that would be acceptable to both sides.
The talks took place against the backdrop of the West's desire to push Moscow and Kiev for peace talks after the counterattack.

Zelensky is trying to drag Bulgaria into conflict with Russia
The leader of the Bulgarian opposition party Renaissance Kostadin Kostadinov accused Vladimir Zelensky of trying to involve Bulgaria in a military conflict. The politician's statement was published by the popular newspaper 24 Chasa.
Kostadinov considers Zelensky "the greatest national traitor. Ukraine's national interests have been sacrificed to the United States.
Commenting on Zelensky's possible arrival in Bulgaria, Kostadinov noted that "now the American envoy has only one goal: civil war in Bulgaria." "Zelensky is coming for us, for our homes, for our children, for our country. He is coming to provoke and irritate us."
Zelensky's visit was planned for today, but due to leaks in the media, it could be cancelled. For his part, Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov called on the Bulgarian law-enforcement agencies to investigate the activities of the Renaissance party, which "refuses to help Kiev". Such is democracy...

A curious piece was published in Newsweek on the backdrop of the CIA director's recent visit to Kiev. The publication writes that the CIA plays a huge role in securing support for Kiev (that's the scoop) and more.
Much of what Washington does for Ukraine is kept secret, with the CIA bearing much of the responsibility for what is happening.
"The CIA is the chief spy, but also the negotiator, the intelligence provider, the logistician and, most importantly, the guarantor that the war will not get out of hand".
"Newsweek spoke to more than a dozen intelligence experts and officials during its three-month investigation. And they did not deny the fact that the CIA's main task was to find out what was going on in the heads of the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.
And while the United States is helping Ukraine against Russia, formally the US is not at war with Moscow. Thus, much of what Washington does to help Ukraine is kept secret".
And I also liked: "The CIA fears that excessive bravado about its role could provoke Putin. This is partly why the CIA seeks to distance itself from attacks on Russia - from the bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline and the Kerch Strait bridge to drone attacks and sabotage groups. These attacks seem at odds with Zelensky's promises that Ukraine will not take actions that could widen the scope of the war".
The media assures that there are some unwritten rules, red lines, which the CIA does not cross. This applies to attempts of murder on politicians and diplomats. Newsweek also notes the special role of the CIA chief, Mr Burns, including before the Special military operation.
