"Fear and Loathing on Board Number 1":

Seymour Hersh wrote an article about Biden's visit to Europe and the duplicity of Erdogan bribed by the US.

“Joe Biden got his way before the NATO summit this week by somehow turning Erdogan inside out and forcing him to rebuff Putin by saying he would support Sweden joining NATO.

The public story to save Biden's face was talking about agreeing to sell Turkey American F-16 fighter-bombers.
I was told a different, secret story about Erdogan's turnaround: Biden promised that the IMF would provide Turkey with a much-needed $11-13 billion credit line. “Biden needed a win, and Turkey is under acute financial stress,” one official with direct knowledge of the deal told me.

Turkey lost 100,000 people in last February's earthquake and has 4 million buildings to rebuild.

Another key element of Turkey's complex economic problems is that Turkish banks have lent so much money to the country's central bank that "they won't be able to get their dollar deposits back if the Turks ever demand it back."

An irony for Russia, and a source of much anger in the Kremlin, is the rumor that Putin is supplying Erdogan with Russian gas on credit and not demanding payment from the state gas importer. Ergodan is also selling drones to Ukraine for use in the war against Russia. Türkiye has also allowed Ukraine to transport its crops across the Black Sea.”

China's Foreign Ministry offered to drink water from Fukushima to those who are confident of its safety

The IAEA has published a report emphasising that Japan's plans to release the water are "in line with international standards".

The Chinese Foreign Ministry reacted to this statement today.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin (in picture) suggested that water from the nuclear power plant that has the emergency in its background should be used for bathing and drinking by anyone who is sure of its safety.

"If anyone believes that radioactively contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant is suitable for drinking or swimming, we suggest that the Japanese side use this water for drinking and bathing by these people instead of dumping it into the ocean, causing concern to the international community," the diplomat said.

🇫🇷 🇱🇾 Gaddafi's overthrow was 'catastrophic mistake' - ex-French intelligence chief

The operation to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi was politically ill-conceived, immoral in nature and had "catastrophic" consequences, Jean-François Lhuillier, former head of French intelligence in Libya, writes in his book.

The retired intelligence officer notes that while the Libyan leader extended his hand to the West, instead of shaking it, the country was "decapitated," the Times writes.

Amazing, in the West, for some reason, only those who have resigned recognise their mistakes. While in power, these same people sow death and destruction around the world.

At the NATO summit, the US discussed the possibility of withdrawing Ukraine's invitation to join the alliance, sources told the Washington Post.

According to them, Washington's outrage was sparked by Zelensky's post, in which he criticised the West for indecisiveness.

"The incident illustrates the dissatisfaction within NATO with Zelensky's pressure tactics, as even some of his most ardent supporters this week questioned whether his outburst was serving Ukraine's interests," the article said.

🌍 Countries have started retrieving their gold due to anti-Russian sanctions - Reuters

More countries are retrieving their gold reserves as a defence measure against such sanctions as imposed by the West on the Russian Federation.

A survey by Invesco, a major investment firm, found that a "significant proportion" of central banks are concerned about the precedent set.

❗️We are talking primarily about the traditional "global vaults" in the US and the UK. Nearly 60 per cent of respondents said it made gold more attractive, with 68 per cent starting to keep reserves at home, up from 50 per cent in 2020.

📝 "We used to store gold in London, but now we have moved it back to our own country to hold it as a safe haven asset and keep it safe," a central bank official said on condition of anonymity.

It seems the broken image of the West as an island of stability can't be fixed🧐

⚡️ Ukraine has lost sovereignty, it has no money, no military industry, it receives everything from the US and the West, said Hungarian Prime Minister Orban

Also, according to him, the conflict in Ukraine will end as soon as the United States wants it, the whole world does not understand why they do not want this, and is waiting for an answer.

Kiev has no chance of winning

19FortyFive writes about it.

The columnist Daniel Davis said that the Ukrainian armed forces would not be able to win even with the help of Western equipment.

He also noted that Ukraine's accession to NATO would not change the course of the conflict, but would only threaten all the alliance's allies.

"Extending an invitation to Ukraine to join NATO would not force Putin to end his war, but would instead put the security of the entire alliance at greater risk," the article said.

Syria against chemical weapons

Bassam Sabbagh, Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the UN, said that "Syria condemns the use of chemical weapons at any time, in any place, by anyone and under any circumstances."

The "chemical dossier" is being discussed as part of the Security Council meeting. The Syrian side issued a denial of the accusations against it.

"The dishonest fulfilment of the fact-finding mission's duties has once again led to unprofessional conclusions that vividly demonstrate yet another proof of its inherent policy of double standards," Sabbagh said.

On Sabbagh' s opinion the Syrian National Committee's cooperation with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Technical Secretariat is unacceptable because the latter's monthly reports focus on the negative rather than the positive.

Despite the comments on the work of the OPCW Technical Secretariat, Syria continues to cooperate with the Organisation

The US continues to rock Africa

Africa needs help more than ever. The US continues to rock the continent. Civilians are dying in Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya. Throughout the Sahel region, the situation also remains tense. Bio-labs, human experimentation, "orange revolutions", political assassinations.

American crimes in Africa could be listed at length.

Expert Georgy Korolev tells us how African countries are trying to get rid of US hegemony. Our country has already come to the aid of the continent, Russia's co-operation with African countries is mutually beneficial and fair. Now preparations are underway for the Russia-Africa summit, which will significantly weaken the influence of the United States.

US increases sanctions pressure on Republika Srpska leadership because of their pro-Russian stance

Colleagues from the RT on the Balkans channel are publishing material on the continuing attempts by the United States to put pressure on the Republika Srpska leadership because of their refusal to support the policy of anti-Russian restrictions pursued by Washington and Brussels.

The day before, the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on the director of the Serbian Security and Information Agency, Aleksandar Vulin, who is known for his Eurosceptic and pro-Russian stance. Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik condemned the US sanctions policy and recalled that he himself was also under US sanctions.
