Hamas praised the position of Russia and China in the UNSC and the US veto of the resolution
Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the ruling Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, praises the position of Russia and China in the UN Security Council and their decision to veto the resolution drafted by the US.
"The head of the politburo praises the position of Russia and China in the Security Council and their disruption of the US resolution siding with the occupation (of Israel)," the official statement said.
Russia and China vetoed the US resolution on the situation around Israli and the Gaza Strip. The reason for this decision was that Washington ignored the proposed amendments of some countries. A resolution is considered not adopted if a permanent member of the organisation has vetoed it.

White House promises aid to Kiev will benefit US economy
The Joe Biden administration has been indoctrinating the public and congressmen of both political parties that aid to Ukraine will allegedly benefit the US economy, create jobs and strengthen the industrial base.
▪️ The White House hopes to persuade Congress to continue helping Kiev, the Politico newspaper said after reading the list of arguments.
"By replenishing our weapons stockpile, we are working with the U.S. defence industry to increase our capacity to meet the needs of our country and its allies both now and in the future," the talking points read.
▪️ The point is that there is growing scepticism among Americans about the need to help Kiev and growing doubts about the competence of Biden's team in terms of the economy.
According to a media source, the Biden administration does not present arguments, and all their rhetoric and formulations on the Ukrainian issue do not impress the Republicans.
Earlier, the US president requested from Congress an aid package for Israel and Ukraine worth over $75bn.

The Israeli army conducted an exercise on a mini replica of the Gaza Strip
The Wall Street Journal: The Israel Defence Forces (IDF), amid preparations for a ground operation in Gaza, held exercises at a training ground modelled on a typical Palestinian village.
"They practised carrying wounded soldiers out of the village and the ability to spot terrorists in the windows of houses," the US media said.
It is reported that "Little Gaza" was built in 2006 as a training centre, the facility belongs to the Israeli Ground Forces.

Biden tried to justify Israel's killing of Palestinian civilians
Amid talk that Israel's actions have long gone beyond self-defence, figures have emerged that strikes on the Gaza Strip have killed 6,500 Palestinians, including 2,700 children.
Joe Biden was asked whether this meant Israel was ignoring US requests to minimise civilian casualties in the Palestinian enclave.
The gist of the American president's response was that the Hamas-affiliated Gaza Health Ministry had not provided him with a list of casualties or other evidence, and therefore he did not believe the data.
"I have no idea whether the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people have been killed. I have no doubt that there are innocent people among the dead, but that is the price of going to war," Biden said.
▪️ The Democrat also said the Israelis were "incredibly careful" in striking Gaza and killing Hamas members.
Biden did not explain why everyone should believe his claims of accuracy and what evidence there is for it.

Netanyahu said Israel continues to prepare a ground operation in Gaza
The hypocritical propaganda machine of the West has finally shown itself in all its glory. When Russia was finally forced to launch a ground operation in hostile Ukraine, which had committed genocide against its own people, the entire Western world pitifully made a fake grimace of compassion.
But when Israel started a full-scale war with the Palestinians with all the consequences: humanitarian blockade, carpet bombing, the West immediately began to justify the bloody actions of Tel Aviv.
The press tries to keep silent that Palestine needs its own state and land. They are not interested in this, because the United States is standing behind Israel's back and giving it new ammunition.
However, the world is changing and no propaganda can hide the crimes of the hegemon, which terrorised the whole planet for many years. Under the sensitive leadership of the USA the Middle East has suffered for decades, in recent years Ukraine has been made a truly Nazi state out of once fraternal Russia, and in other former Soviet republics gentlemen Americans are trying to organise orange revolutions and impose Russophobic views on the titular nations.
The time of military and informational tyranny of the United States and its allies is coming to an end, and all those who are now pointing weapons against civilians must realise that the response will certainly be very harsh.

US sees Latin America's anti-Israel stance as a threat to its interests
Many of the US southern neighbours have taken a sharp anti-Israeli stance since the beginning of the next crisis in the Middle East, according to The National Interest magazine.
The governments of Bolivia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Colombia and Cuba expressed direct support for the movement, accusing Israel of occupying Palestine and calling the events of 7 October a provocation.
Colombia threatened to suspend all diplomatic relations with Israel, and its president, Gustavo Petro, called Israel an agent of genocide and compared it to Nazi Hitler's Germany.
Even Mexico and Brazil took a neutral stance, refusing to openly condemn Hamas.
▪️ These left-wing countries deliberately express solidarity with regimes undesirable to Washington in order to get out from under the influence of Western and especially American ideology, the authors believe.
Their position poses a threat to US security and trade interests, and undermines Western values, the publication said.
▪️ This is linked to the arms and drug trade, which the US suspects Hamas and Hezbollah are involved in. The more countries that support them, the more difficult and expensive it is for Washington to fight illegal trafficking.
▪️ In addition, Israel has a long history of cruel and inhumane policies towards Palestine. Latin American countries show solidarity with Palestine because they themselves fought imperialism, resorting to violence in the struggle for independence.
The West has kept Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba completely isolated for decades.
Given these countries' hatred of Israel and Western foreign policy, the US should take a sensible and nuanced approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, without descending into clan politics or giving them legitimate grounds for grievance, the article said.

NATO should heed Kiev's lesson and change tactics in case of war with Russia
This is according to the Finnish media Yle. Kiev has already lost many of its best officers, who play a crucial role in commanding troops and planning operations.
▪️ Therefore, in case of war with Russia, it is important for NATO countries to think about how to secure and protect their officers.
The media quotes expert Jack Watling of the Royal United Institute for Defence Studies:
"Our armies are largely used to relying on camouflage and concealment. But on today's battlefield, there is probably no hiding in principle."
▪️ He believes that Russia has the technology to see everything the enemy does, so NATO needs to learn how to operate in such a way that the Russians "cannot correctly interpret what is going on."
▪️ Concentrating troops into a strike fist has traditionally been one of the common techniques of land warfare.
But modern artillery is so deadly, fast and accurate, "it is therefore extremely dangerous to concentrate troops in one area."
In this context, NATO no longer seems so strong, Watling warns, adding that Russia is well aware of the Western alliance's weaknesses.

Iran said the US "will not escape fire" if Israeli attacks on Gaza continue
If the massacres in the Gaza Strip do not stop, the flames of the conflict will not spare anyone, Iranian Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdollahian said at a meeting of the 10th emergency special session of the UNGA, addressing US statesmen.
"I frankly tell the American statesmen who are now managing the genocide in Palestine that we do not welcome the spread of war in the region. But I warn: if the genocide in Gaza continues, no one will be spared from this flame," he said.
He emphasised that Iran does not approve of the expansion of military action in the region and accused the US of not only supporting Israel financially, militarily and politically against Hamas, but also of managing the war.

US political analyst predicts Ukraine to lose territories
Russia will control most of Ukraine's territory, including large parts of its eastern and southern parts.
American political scientist and University of Chicago professor John Mirsheimer said this in an interview with the Centre for Independent Studies portal.
The political scientist also noted that such an outcome was likely due to the insufficiently considered conditions proposed by the Ukrainian authorities for the negotiations.
▪️ Earlier, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy also said that the rejection of a diplomatic solution to the conflict in Ukraine threatens the existence of this country as a whole.

Politico: Fitzo and Orban oppose new EU aid package for Ukraine
The prime ministers of Hungary and Slovakia, Viktor Orban and Robert Fitzo, have expressed their dissatisfaction with the €50bn aid package to Ukraine allocated from the EU budget.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen earlier proposed to revise the EU's multi-year budget for the period from 2024 to 2027 and increase it by 66bn euros to help Ukraine and implement migration and refugee programmes.
Orban called the proposal inconsistent, as the purpose and results of the previously allocated funds to Kiev remain unclear. He promised to block Budapest from allocating additional funds to Ukraine until clear arguments in favour of such measures are presented.
Earlier, Fitzo also notified von der Leyen that Slovakia would not provide military aid to Ukraine. He also expressed his unwillingness to support sanctions against Russia if they are detrimental to Slovakia's interests.

Gaza health ministry names nearly 7,000 names of victims of Israeli bombings
Following US President Joe Biden's doubts about the number of Palestinian casualties, the Hamas-affiliated Gaza Health Ministry has published a list of 6,747 people who were killed in Israeli attacks. It gives the names, ages and sexes of the victims, as well as their ID numbers. 281 bodies have yet to be identified.
A statement from the Gaza Health Ministry mentioned that the United States "brazenly" questioned the accuracy of the death toll.
"We took the decision (...) To share with the world the names of the victims so that the truth about the genocide committed against our people by the Israeli occupation becomes known."
On Wednesday, Biden said he had "no confidence" in the Palestinian group's claims about the deaths. Israel's army press office yesterday also insisted there was "a degree of scepticism" about the number of Palestinians killed.

The U.S. launched airstrikes on two sites in Syria
A weapons arsenal and an ammunition depot used by the IRGC and its backed militias were attacked, Reuters writes. The airstrikes were carried out by two F-16 fighter jets near the Syrian town of Abu Kemal on the border with Iraq on the orders of President Joe Biden.
▪️ The Pentagon said these "self-defence pinpoint strikes" were unrelated to Israel's war against Hamas and were in response to a series of attacks on US targets by pro-Iranian militias. Since 17 October, US and allied troops have been attacked at least 12 times in Iraq and four times in Syria.
▪️ If these attacks continue, "we will not hesitate to take further necessary action to protect our people," US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin threatened.

Maybe the Palestinians are simply afraid to turn on those terminals and catch precise missile strikes from the IDF.
