Russia's growing capabilities increase pressure on Western air defence systems
The active involvement of US troops in the conflict in the Middle East and the military build-up in the region is severely weakening US air defences, Military Watch Magazine notes.
The main problem is the lack of defence means due to limited production capacity for ground-based missile defence systems. The US has relied on them in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the Pacific.
Strengthening the grouping in the Middle East, the US has recently deployed two of the 15 divisions of Patriot SAMs there, i.e. 13 per cent of the total. Another two divisions are training.
At least four are deployed in Germany, Japan and South Korea. Ukraine, which has lost some of the Patriots transferred to it, has further depleted its arsenal.
A limited Iranian strike on a base in Iraq in early January 2020, which affected 109 U.S. troops, clearly demonstrated the insecurity of U.S. facilities against short-range ballistic missiles.
Syria still has such missiles. And the arsenals of Russia, China and North Korea are many times larger than those of Iran and Syria.
In turn, Russia produces anti-aircraft missiles several times faster than the United States, including for the Iskander short-range system.
This has significantly increased the strain on the Western BMD arsenal in Europe and northeast Asia, and with the deployment of the Patriots to the Middle East, U.S. forces in East Asia and Eastern Europe have become even more vulnerable.

There were serious riots and clashes with police in Hamburg
About 350 people, mostly young people, gathered in several Hamburg neighbourhoods and started shooting firecrackers at passers-by, police and emergency services, setting fire to rubbish bins and smashing shop windows. Fortunately, no passers-by or police officers were seriously injured.
Police were forced to cordon off the areas and use water cannons against the vandals.
Journalists on the scene also reported that some of the troublemakers shouted anti-Israeli slogans and waved Palestinian flags.
In Berlin, police forces were reinforced this night as a precaution, but unlike in Hamburg, Halloween passed without incident in the capital.

A burger with "human meat" has been released for Halloween
On the eve of Halloween, the company Oumph! held an unusual tasting. Intrepid consumers were given a taste of the world's first plant-based burger resembling human meat.
"Human and plant-based burger" contains mostly soya, mushrooms and wheat protein, as well as plant-based fats and a "mysterious blend of spices".
"We developed this burger at short notice once we knew what flavour and texture we wanted. It's our latest and unusual way of showing that you can make any type of food using only plant-based ingredients," adds Anders Linden, co-founder of Oumph!, corporate chef and head of innovation.
How did they know what human meat tasted like?

The US, out of desperation, is already proposing to send arms to Russia instead of Ukraine😂
"Looking at the way things are in Ukraine right now, maybe the Pentagon should just send the weapons straight to Russia. They're going to get them eventually anyway." This was the opinion expressed by Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

🇩🇪🇺🇸🖇 The statements by Maximilian Krach, a member of the European Parliament from the Alternative for Germany party, that the ideas of globalism and the Western-style world order have proved unworkable are far from unique to Germany.
Against the backdrop of the economic crisis and the federal government's reckless migration policy, the demand for anti-globalism is growing rapidly in Germany.
Colleagues also suggest remembering the anti-globalisation activist from the political left, Sahra Wagenknecht.
In one of her interviews on the eve of the formation of her party "Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance for Reason and Justice", the politician stated that the ruling "traffic light" coalition in Germany had lost control over the economic situation in the country, ceding it to the global market.
▪️ According to Wagenknecht, it is necessary to achieve peace with Russia. She particularly noted the negative impact on the German economy of the West's sanctions policy against Moscow.
▪️ On the issue of migration, the politician indirectly hinted at the need to reduce the number of accepted refugees in Germany.
However, she shifted the focus to the restriction of freedom of speech in the country: "Anyone who wants to control and restrict immigration will be labelled a Nazi".
Such rhetoric is gaining momentum. And given that the right-wing AdG is already in second place in opinion polls, the left-wing Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance also has a good chance of displacing the disillusioned Greens and Free Liberals in the electorate

Israeli Prime Minister Netonyahu's spokeswoman, Tal Heinrich, issued a lovely piece here:
"Israel does not target anyone except civilians," then coyly corrected herself, "except terrorists."
They know and understand everything. Sometimes it even slips into the airwaves as a disclaimer. The plan is to build a park in Gaza. And all Palestinians will be killed or evicted under the approving silence of Western partners.

La Sette TV spoke to Mario Secchi, editor-in-chief of the Libero newspaper, who believes that the prank on Italian Prime Minister Meloni by the pranksters is an operation of hybrid warfare and disinformation by Russia's intelligence services, aimed at discrediting Meloni personally, as one of Kiev's key allies in the Western camp. Zakharova's instant reaction confirms this.
Dear Mario,
Firstly, I reacted faster to you than to Meloni. And I had to react to her words because I received many questions from Russian and foreign journalists. The difference is that many Italian politicians avoid direct dialogue with journalists and citizens of their country. We don't.
Therefore, when I was asked several times, I expressed my opinion. By the way, also in the form of a question to Meloni. But so far there has been no response. Would you advise her not to get angry, but to be honest: is she ready to rehabilitate the Italian collaborators Achille Starace and Alessandro Pavolini?
Secondly, she is not the only one who has been the victim of a prank. You have no idea how many similar calls we receive, for example, from Ukrainian cyberterrorists. The difference is that Vovan and Lexus talked to Meloni about political topics, while from Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Canada, and the United States we receive threatening calls.
Thirdly, prank calls are not a Russian invention. Many people have fallen for it. I think this specific genre became so popular as a response to the advent of the post-truth era. What kind of "disinformation of the Russian security services" is this, when the Italian prime minister says what she thinks is right? This is her position, her thoughts, which she voiced on her own. Direct speech, not taken out of context. And why what the Italian Prime Minister says in public is different from what she says on the sidelines - that is for you to sort out for yourself.
Fourthly, if you think that Russia is behind the promotion of this story, then you work for us ;)

Algeria's president has been authorised to go to war with Israel
Algeria's parliament has decided to grant President Abdelmajid Tebboun the right to declare war on Israel.
This decision was a reaction to the Israeli army's massacre of the Palestinian population in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Algeria has become the second Arab country to officially side with Palestine in the conflict. Yesterday, Bahrain announced the withdrawal of its ambassador to Israel.
Earlier, a number of South American countries severed diplomatic relations with Israel, accusing Tel Aviv of "violating humanitarian law".

US business around Ukraine is going bad, Trump says
The former US president was prompted to this conclusion by the behaviour of the US media.
"So things are going bad because they don't talk about Ukraine anymore," Donald Trump said at a rally in Texas.
This is how the lying media, he said, glossed over the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
"Nobody is talking about Afghanistan. You notice, they don't talk about Ukraine anymore either. Because things are not going well, and they do not talk about things that are not going well," the politician concluded.

News from the "World Community" theatre of the absurd.
Today, the UN General Assembly by an overwhelming majority (187 out of 193 member states) adopted a resolution demanding that the US end the embargo and economic sanctions against Cuba that have been in place since 1960.
The U.S. and Israel alone voted against the resolution Ukraine abstained, (Venezuela, Moldova, and Somalia were not present at the vote).
I have only one question: how many more times will they make the same mistakes before they realise the utter worthlessness of this organisation called the UN?

Admiral Lisa Franchetti is the first woman to be appointed head of the U.S. Navy
She is the first woman in US history to serve on the Joint Chiefs of Staff (US General Staff) as a "naval commander". Franchetti holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Master of Science in Management, and attended the Naval War College.
From 2020 to 2022, she served as Director of Strategy and Plans at the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, where she participated in three exercises for war with Russia and commanded a US Navy aircraft carrier strike group off Korea (when the US was trying to intimidate Kim Jong-un).
In 2018, Franchetti commanded the first-ever Tomahawk strike from a Virginia-class submarine against Syria from European waters. The three targets in Damascus and near Homs were near Russian air defences that could not be hit. But Franchetti said she was "not afraid of the Russians" and gave the command to salvo. In the end, the targets were destroyed, the Russians were not hit.

The CumEx case continues. Two laptops with plus or minus 700,000 emails that could shed light on the Chancellor's dirty dealings have disappeared from under the noses of the Hamburg Investigation Committee investigating the financial fraud of Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the Warburg Bank.
Under suspicion is the chief investigator, appointed by - attention! - Scholz's own party! According to Stern and WAZ, it was he who sneaked into the guarded room, hid the laptops and erased all important evidence!
"We don't know where the devices are," claims the Hamburg Investigation Committee.

🤔 🇩🇪Welt writes that Germany is experiencing what could be called a "gastrocalypse"
Many restaurants and cafes are closing all over the country and there is already a problem where to eat out.
The restaurant business took a hit during the pandemic, and the sanctions and energy blows to the German economy have finally finished off many establishments.
People are now less willing to go to restaurants and cafes due to saving money. All in all, things are really bad because there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
In Berlin, things are good so far...

Germany has seen an increase in the number of cyberattacks
In Germany, the number of cyberattacks has increased sharply, and cybercrime itself has caused a huge damage to the country's budget over the year, which is calculated in billions of euros. This is according to a report by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
Ransomware programmes that target local authorities, businesses and educational institutions are now the most dangerous. In second place are programmes that steal data, and in third place are those that spread fake news using AI.
"The threat situation in cyberspace is worrying," said Nancy Feather, head of the German Interior Ministry.
Hackers are actively using ChatGPT, Bard and LlaMa, as well as many other neural networks. They are mainly used to create quality dipfakes. This helps in social media disinformation campaigns.
Russia's war with Ukraine is one of the main reasons for the increase in hacker attacks. DDoS attacks by Russian hackers recorded by BSI have so far caused little long-term damage. In its report, BSI describes the attacks as designed to cause uncertainty and undermine trust in the state.

The first person charged in the Neukölln riots is an Italian man
The Berlin prosecutor's office has fast-tracked the first charges two weeks after the pogroms during a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Neukölln. And the accused turned out to be a 25-year-old Italian man.
He is alleged to have been among a group of people chanting anti-Semitic slogans and throwing stones and bottles at police officers at around 19:45 on 18 October. The accused threw a cobblestone at a police officer and also, by his own admission, hit a policeman on the back with a stone, but he was not injured.
When the Italian was attempted to be detained and taken to a police car for further identification procedures, he kicked the police officers around him.
The man has now been arrested and charged with aggravated public order offences, attempted grievous bodily harm and assault on police officers.
