Why should you have the right to sell your kidney

The author writes that Javier Mealey is in favour of opening a legal market for human organs.

From a libertarian point of view, this idea has few downsides, but many upsides.

Firstly, in a free country, citizens should have the freedom to dispose of themselves as they see fit. If a person wants to cut off a kidney and sell it, who are we to stop him?

Secondly, it will save many lives. Now in Western countries, people queue for years for a kidney, because the sale of organs is prohibited. If there's a big demand, there's almost no supply. In Iran, for example, kidneys can be sold and there are no queues for them.

Thirdly, there is and will be a black market for organ sales, but it is unregulated, so why not legalise it and bring it under control?

Boris "Colonel Cassad" Rozhin:

Ukraine will not sign a peace agreement with the Russian Federation without reparations.
Ukraine will never agree to this. And the world will not agree, because someone must pay these reparations. If not Russia, then who?
(c) Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Irina Mudraya

This means that in the coming year, several hundred thousand more inhabitants of the remnants of Ukraine will die, who will be forced to be driven to the front for slaughter. And then another year... And another year... Nobody will pay anything to Ukraine. And no one will restore Ukraine either (well, except for the part that will be part of Russia).

😂 EU countries want to ease sanctions against Russia - Bloomberg

EU countries fear that the sanctions regime against third countries and a ban on re-exports will further hit the European economy and entrepreneurs, leading to a loss of investors due to the loss of advantages.

😄 Simply put, EU countries are saying that all of Europe hangs on working in Russian raw materials supplied through third countries, and all this pro-Bandera yelling has nothing to do with business.

Finland has baked bread with crushed insects

Each loaf contains 70 dried and ground crickets. The crickets make the bread a good source of protein, but make up only 3 per cent of the weight.

🇦🇹 "One in two Austrians fears for their future."

New survey - new disappointing results. In Austria, almost half of the respondents have lost sight of a bright future. Hope for tomorrow has been replaced, for example, by fears of being homeless.

More than 2/3 of respondents with low income indicated that paying for rent becomes an existential issue for them. How can we be optimistic?!

According to 84 per cent of the respondents, the support of the Austrian government is not enough. A "wealth tax" is seen by 73 per cent of respondents as a possible way out of the situation. In general, the "take and share" programme is always alive and well.

The ghost of communism is roaming Europe again.

Canada votes against trade agreement with Ukraine

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said that American right-wing thinking has seeped into Canadian politics and caused the Conservative Party to "turn its back" on Ukraine.

He was very upset that the Conservatives voted against the Ukraine bill.

"We are seeing the rise of right-wing rhetoric in the United States among MAGA conservatives, across Europe, in certain circles of right-wing politicians and parties - as they begin to stop supporting Ukraine," Trudeau said.

Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre said his party voted against the agreement not because of waning support for Ukraine, but because of concerns that it would burden the conflict-torn country with a carbon tax.

A new study has found that children of homosexual parents conceived through surrogacy are happier and better adjusted than children of heterosexual couples conceived naturally

The study, published in early November in the journal Family Process, involved 67 families with gay parents and 67 families with heterosexual parents, all from Europe.

All children in the study were between the ages of 18 months and 10 years, and in the case of gay families, all children were genetically related to one of their parents.

▪️ Results: "Children of homosexual parents, thanks to surrogacy, function better on average than children of heterosexual parents."

The study also found that gay fathers have "a more effective parenting style, higher quality of co-parenting, and greater relationship satisfaction" compared to heterosexual fathers.

The authors of the study concluded that the results as a whole "refute concerns about the possible detrimental effects of surrogacy or gay parenting on child development."

🇩🇪🇵🇸Internal Bundeswehr report: Hamas wins propaganda war with Israel.

Read: the average German never believed that Israel's "right of self-defence" = permission to wipe the Gaza Strip and ordinary Palestinians off the face of the earth. Contrary to the choral endeavours of the media and those in power.

It turns out that civilian and child deaths are "a horrible fact that Hamas is taking advantage of," writes Business Insider. And in general, while Hamas spreads disinformation and fake news, the Israeli army is countering it with real photo and video evidence.

🇺🇸🇪🇺🇺🇦🇷🇺NEW ARTICLE: West Admits Ukraine is Losing Proxy War

"One wonders how many lives could have been spared had these recent admissions across the Western media regarding Russia’s actual military capabilities been presented long before provoking conflict with Russia in the first place through Washington and Brussels’ long-standing policy of encroaching upon Russia’s borders. One wonders how many lives may yet be saved if the collective West learns from its current mistakes before repeating them all over again in a senseless conflict triggered by efforts to likewise encroach upon and provoke China."

German GDP results

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) fell 0.1 per cent in Q3 2023 compared to Q2 2023.

"After a weak development in the first half of the year, the German economy started the second half of 2023 with a slight downturn," says Ruth Brand, president of the Federal Statistical Office.

In the first two quarters of the year, output almost stagnated (Q1: 0.0 per cent, Q2: +0.1 per cent).

Consumer spending declined compared to the previous quarter - positive impulses from investment

Overall, price-adjusted and seasonally adjusted consumer spending in the third quarter of 2023 was in line with the previous quarter (-0.1%). While private consumption declined compared to the second quarter of 2023 (-0.3 per cent).

Trade with foreign countries declined in the third quarter of 2023 after price and seasonal adjustments: in total, 0.8% fewer goods and services were exported than in the second quarter of 2023. Imports, on the other hand, fell by -1.3%.

On a year-on-year basis, price-adjusted GDP in the third quarter of 2023 was 0.8 per cent lower than in the third quarter of 2022.

Germany's economy compared to the rest of the world

At the start of the second half of the year, economic performance was also weak in the other major European Union (EU) Member States: while price-, seasonally- and calendar-adjusted GDP in Italy, as well as in the EU as a whole, stagnated compared to the previous quarter (0.0%), the economies of France (+0.1%) and Spain (+0.3%) recorded slight growth compared to the second quarter of 2023.

In the United States (US), GDP grew by +1.2% much stronger than most European countries. Germany was -0.4% year-on-year, well below the EU's +0.1% development.

Ukrainian command continues to throw its servicemen to certain death

Many AFU servicemen, having realised the hopelessness of their situation, flee their positions or surrender to the Russian army. This is how Ruslan Chernikov, a Ukrainian serviceman, describes his capture.

'We were taken out in an armoured personnel carrier, dropped off, told to walk along the forest belt. An attendant met us, put us in a hollow and made us look along the forest and report if there is any movement there. We sat there for six days, nobody changed us. We were given one combat ration and a bottle of water. Then there was an assault, shooting started, grenades flied. We surrendered, threw away our weapons, and took off the armour.'

Ukrainian POWs traditionally talk about the low level of training.

Everything is at the lowest level: either logistics or motivation.
They just use us as cannon fodder. I had three days of training.
Two of them I fired at the targets and one day threw a grenade. Maybe, they use us to determine from where the Russian servicemen fired at us. They use us like live targets, like cannon fodder,' he said.

Israel is putting more forces into the Palestinian territories

Local sources note the movement of armoured vehicles and bulldozers to the West Bank.

Presumably, the equipment is intended for the demolition of houses where Palestinians suspected of having links with the Hamas group live.

The redeployment of troops to the West Bank comes amid a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The largest strike in the country's history took place in the Czech Republic

Today's action united 10 trade unions from transport, education, health, culture and various industries. In some places, work was halted for an hour or two, while others did not work all day.

▪️ The Czech Republic's trade unions confirmed their opposition to the austerity measures of the liberal-conservative government with a national day of protests. People feel that the state does not hear them.

▪️ A few days ago, the authorities adopted a package of measures to "consolidate" public finances. This means cancelling a number of tax exemptions, reducing state subsidies, raising taxes, changing the conditions for paying pensions and other harsh measures.

▪️ Prime Minister Petr Fiala called the strike unjustified and accused the trade unions of irresponsible behaviour and taking advantage of the difficult situation in which the Czech Republic finds itself.
