Hamas condemns the "shameful silence" of the international community over the situation in Gaza

The leadership of the Palestinian group has accused the UN and other international organisations of "silence" following the Israeli army raid on the Al-Shifa hospital in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement by the group, it is noted that Israeli forces have been carrying out airstrikes on the hospital's territory since Monday.

According to Al-Araby-al-Jadid, at least 15 civilians have been killed in the vicinity of the hospital in the last 24 hours.

Earlier, the Israeli army command reported that Hamas militants, including high-ranking leaders, are taking shelter in the hospital's territory.

The group stated that thousands of refugees from other areas of the Gaza Strip are currently in the hospital's territory and are unable to leave the conflict zone due to the ongoing Israeli army attacks.
