6.1 is actually good?!??!
My current in-development game has been on Unity 6 since the first beta and there were plenty of issues along the way. Well, Friday evening I installed 6000.1.1f1 and NOTHING BROKE. I think this is the first time I made a change like that without issues and I am amazed. I am still concerned and this week's release cycle has extra time for testing allocated, but so far... Woooohooooo!
Thank you Unity, thank you to the new management team! There are still plenty of bugs in the backlog, but I have never had a smoother upgrade!

Creating a 2D top down game's "level" ?
Hey y'all, I'll like to do a top down 2D game as my first game, either RPG or Sim, I'll figure it out later
I know the basics of C# and Unity code wise
But I'm stuck on creating levels with Unity
I have a bunch of free assets but I can't find a good tutorial to create the "level" part of the game
Like, putting tiles, creating a level, etc.
I know I can "paint" the canvas but it looks so weird to put the entire level pixel by pixel
Am I really supposed to do that for a whole top down world ?
And I can't find any tutorial about how to properly use the tools to create a level
Could anyone guide me towards a website or something that would help with that please ?
I've searched but I can't seem to find
Thank you and take care !
