VoidConf: automatically bootstrap a void linux machine according to your needs!
Hello. sometimes ago i started a project called VoidConf that lets you bootstrap a fresh void linux according to your needs.
It actually clone a repo and start symlinking files of them in your home directory.
The result is you that have almost last updates of your config files and whenever you change any files in your home directory(if they track by VoidConf directory), your cloned git repo will update and you can push the changes to your remote. :)
This is the address of project:
Feel free to clone it and change [bootstrap.sh](https://bootstrap.sh/) according to your needs.
Although this project specifically written to configure a void linux machine, but you can grab the idea and automate any distro that you want. Just change the package names and service paths and in [bootstrap.sh](https://bootstrap.sh) and everything will should work.

Chrome vs Firefox in Linux
So I have attempted, multiple times to replace Chrome with Firefox. And each time, within a day or two, I am completely unimpressed with FireFox. Pages load way slower, some give me problems loading at all. I have uBlock Origin installed, have disabled it for certain websites and I have noticed improved load time on those sites. I also use TouchVPN, don't really notice much of a difference with the VPN on or off so I don't believe it has anything to do with the latency from the VPN. What am I missing here? I have heard others using Chromium over Chrome. I have used Chromium years ago, wasn't impressed. Should I give it another shot? What browser do you use? I use bitwarden for my password manager, love it as I can have it on all my systems. I do not like Chrome because of the privacy sharing obviously, that is the main reason I am trying to get away from it but at the expense of significant performance? I mean going from instant load times to sometimes 10-15 seconds to load a page, what is this 1999? Suggestions if possible would be great! Thank you!

I've made a VM Linux Mint environemnt, and I don't know why I'm not connected to the internet
I've messed with all the VM network setting before I launch the Linux environment and nothing is working. When I start Firefox in Linux Mint, nothing loads

Screen annotation software
I am running Linux Mint 19.1 and gromit-mpx seems to not want to work. Is there any other screen annotation packages that I can install and use?

Copy and past shortcuts in the terminal?
I've been using Linux for a fair amount of time, and as such I've learned to use the terminal quite often. However, in all my 7 years I've been using Linux as my daily driver, I never knew that `ctrl + shift + c` copies and `ctrl + shift + v` pastes. Is this something that a lot of people know? Although I'll still use middle click paste more often, I'm so shocked I have not known about these shortcuts.

Building a Raspberry Pi 3B+ full keyboard handheld. Part 1
Not really surprisingly, it is quite hard to get a mobile Linux handheld device in 2019. You either have to build your own or try to get your hands on the (discontinued) obscure ones. Would computer manufacturers sell you a device that lasts you 10 years?…
