Asus Fonepad (K004 ME371MG)
Hola!

Hello! I have an Asus Fonepad tablet (K004 ME371MG) and I am interested to know if it is convenient to install an operating system other than the Android 4.1 that it brings from the factory. For example, I can think of installing an Ubuntu. It is possible or not, and what I have to see before doing so.
I leave the technical specifications:

Request: What specifically would you like to see more guides on?
**Background** \- I'm hoping to make a career change into Linux, land a decent tech gig.
I've started a blog writing guides *(won't link, if you want to find, you will)*
I'm seeking ideas on what you think, would be nice to see more of. Something a little niche and any tips you have for a young man looking to jump from Construction to the terminal.
Always open for feedback - *I need this break from cutting wood everyday*.

What Terminal Emulator do you use and why?
Seeing all of the different terminal emulators out there, I am paralyzed by choice.
What are the benefits to all of these emulators, and what makes you use the one you are using?
Is it just because it came with the distro you daily? Is that how most people pick their terminal emulator? Or is there actual things you guys look for?

Hot to create firewall in ubutnu 18.04?
Hello as the noscript suggests,
I have been unsuccessful in creating a firewall. The firewall should be capable enough to block to vpn access as well.
I did changed dns using netplan in ubuntu (works)
Created rules using UFW (Don't know if it works)
I am not able to understand how does VPN bypass the firewall created by DNS to block porn, torrent as such.
Any link to learn is highly appreciated.
Thanks

Lenovo L340 gaming
So just an announcement since I had trouble finding compatibility info for a Lenovo L340 gaming edition; Ubuntu based distros seem to work good on this hardware. I bought a new one and was able to dual boot just fine. This laptop works great with Zorrin OS so if anyone else is looking at it for use with Linux, go for it.

[Audio Effects] JamesDSP for Linux
Hello, I'm u/TheBone_ and I wanted to present you a DSP (audio effect processor) for Linux!
If you're a rooted android user, you might have heard of JamesDSP. It is a digital sound processor used to enhance your music with several effects on Android. It allows you to add reverberation, bass boost, other filters using a parametric or fixed band equalizer and much more stuff to your sound output.
I ported it to Linux as a plugin for gstreamer1.0 quite some time ago and thought about publishing it on Reddit now.
**JamesDSP for Linux**
Features:
* Bass boost
* Analog modeling (12AX7)
* Stereo widener (mid/side)
* BS2B
* Advanced reverberation engine (Progenitor2)
* Cubic spline interpolated 15-bands equalizer
* Compressor
* Convolver
* Parametric Equalizer (packaged as ViPER DDC)
Installation instructions:
