Ubtuntu 19.04 - nVidia 340.107 drivers broken
I have a GeForce 210 GPU in my home server. It has very low TDP which is why I bought it in the first place. However, nVidia legacy 340.107 driver package does not currently work for Kernel 5. The package fails to compile. I saw a user made a patch but I have no idea how to apply it. Has anyone dealt with this and found a fix?

Failing a possible fix, a possible GPU recommendation would be appreciated. The server has a desktop for web browsing but mainly exists as a Plex Media Server transcoding video. Running i7 Nephlam 920, 8GB DDR3 and the GeForece GT 210 card currently.

Any help is appreciated.

Got this message on my acer aspire laptop after installing kali linux light through my usb flash. I installed the iso on the flash using ubuntu's startup tool. Tried installing again with repartitioning, didn't work. Anyone knows a solution?

Git-logger - A classic git punch-card in your terminal!
Hi,

[Git-logger](https://gitlab.com/CrazyBaboon/git-logger) is a 160 line Bash noscript that replicates the git punch-card that was once available on Github - and it runs in your terminal :)

The initial release was in 2018, but it had serious limitations when baking large projects. Hopefully these have been solved!

Here are a few screenshots:

This new version of git-logger bakes the Linux project (quite large) in around 10 sec (Intel i7-2600):

The GIMP project...

The guys at Microsoft go for lunch at around 1pm....

And, as an example of a small project, here is [Feynman](https://gitlab.com/CrazyBaboon/Feynman):
https://i.redd.it/ookb5jikkca31.png
Simply copy the noscript **git-logger.sh** to the target git folder ([GIMP](https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp) for example) and type:
./git-logger.sh

Feedback is greatly appreciated! I hope you enjoy this tool!

Looking for Linux tutorials
So I’ve been programming for a while and I would like to move for Windows’s to Linux, Linux looks very technical and confusing which is why I never learnt it earlier. I’m sure it’s easier that it looks (I hope) I’m interested in learning about hosting servers and programming stuff but Linux can do a lot of stuff so for now just tutorials on the basics.

Trying Linux for the second time
I’ve been going back and forth with windows and Linux for a long time. The biggest drawback is finding the similar software I would use on windows onto Linux. I am a little more tech savvy since I last tried Linux so we will see how it plays out. I installed Linux Mint 19.1 “Tessa” MATE

What's the latest on Anbox?
Just curious on how it's coming along and hoping a few people with recent experience could chime in. I tried it about a year ago and it was a LONG way from ready. That said, it seems to me that with the pine phone and librem 5 around the corner (ish) there could be some real utility in seeing it succeed. Has it improved much? Is it going to be a realistic option any time soon?
