이동수단도 친환경 차량을 동원한다. 관중들은 겨울올림픽이 열리는 3개 지역을 대중교통을 통해 이동할 수 있다. 대중교통의 85% 이상이 전기 배터리, 수소연료전지, 천연가스 등을 동력으로 이용한다. 이 대중교통 체계는 2019년 말부터 운영이 시작됐다. 중국은 지난해 8월 수소에너지 5개년 계획을 발표하며 2023년까지 수소충전소 37개를 건설하고 약 3000대의 수소연료전지 차량을 보급하기로 했다.
