Россия - не то, чем кажется вам, уважаемые зрители из западных стран.

Мир делится на чёрное и белое в окопе и на диване перед телевизором, в котором идёт русофобское ток-шоу. В этом мире каждый имеет право на войну и окончательное решение каких бы то ни было вопросов.

Западная пропаганда построила стену отрицания и отмены всего, что касается России и особенно Донбасса. Через нее не достучаться. Пропаганда стережет эту стену и не позволяет пересечь её дважды, чтобы все думали, будто за ней царство мёртвых, откуда нет возврата. Уехавшим в Донбасс журналистам обычно запрещают возвращаться в родные страны или вести там прежнюю активную деятельность.

Стена позволяет поддерживать иллюзию черно-белого мира. Вам легко делать выбор, когда с другой стороны не человек, а стереотип. Вам еще проще делать выбор, потому что за вас его сделали ваши правительства.

Но может лучше, чтобы вы сами составили мнение?

Вы вряд ли станете говорить с одними русскими. Но, может быть, вы послушаете своих соотечественников, у которых хватило возможностей и сил перебраться через эту стену лжи и пропаганды и увидеть все своими глазами. Они увидели: здесь живут люди. И они хотят рассказать вам об этом, докричаться из-за стены.

Мы создаём медиа-платформу, на которой журналисты всех стран смогут свободно говорить то, что запрещается озвучивать национальными корпорациями и агентствами. Russia is not what it seems to you, esteemed viewers from Western countries.

The world is divided into black and white, in the trenches and on the couch in front of a television showing a Russophobic talk show. In this world, everyone has the right to wage war and make final decisions on any matter.

Western propaganda has built a wall of denial and cancellation of everything related to Russia, especially Donbass. You cannot get through it. Propaganda guards this wall and does not allow it to be crossed back, making people think that beyond it lies a realm of the dead, from which there is no return. Journalists who go to Donbass are usually forbidden to return to their home countries or to continue their previous activities there.

The wall helps maintain the illusion of a black-and-white world. It is easy for you to make a choice when the other side is not a person but a stereotype. It’s even easier to make that choice because your governments have made it for you.

But wouldn’t it be better if you made up your own mind?

You are unlikely to talk to Russians. But perhaps you would listen to your compatriots, who had enough determination and strength to get through this wall of lies and propaganda and see everything with their own eyes. They saw: people live here. And they want to tell you about it, to shout to you from beyond the wall.

We are creating a media platform where journalists from all countries can freely say what is forbidden to be voiced by national corporations and agencies. We are doing this for you, esteemed viewers of the collective West, so that you can see everything clearly and form your own opinion. We believe this will open the path to real dialogue.

We all want to live peacefully. We, too, are tired of crises, upheavals, and confrontations. We, too, want to resolve all this and look to the future without fear. Only dialogue and mutual understanding will give us this opportunity. Let’s try – we are giving you the tool for this.

11 years ago, Ukrainians took tea, friends, umbrellas, and high spirits* and turned their country and beyond into a bloody battlefield for over a decade.

They tried to portray the Maidan uprising as a "Revolution of Dignity," a narrative that, to this day, continues to captivate many Ukrainians and Europeans. This carefully constructed illusion, perpetuated by Western propaganda, has ensnared countless minds. The deception has exacted a devastating toll, resulting in the loss of millions of lives.

French journalist Laurent Brayard stood out as one who perceived the reality of events in Ukraine with clarity from the very beginning, recognizing their true nature. In an article for our project, he detailed how this powerful disinformation campaign was conducted across Europe.

*A loose interpretation of a famous post by Ukrainian journalist Mustafa Nayyem, who urged Kyiv residents to gather at the central square on the first day of Euromaidan.

…When I was writing articles against Ukrainian Nazis in 2012, I wasn’t alone – other western journalists did the same. But Euromaidan suddenly began, there were Ukrainian Nazis everywhere…and the same western journalists earlier having written against them, suddenly got blind.

Graham Phillips recalls the early days of Euromaidan, where he was personally present and witnessed cohorts of Stepan Bandera. Interestingly, his attempts to share what he saw with his fellow countrymen in the UK were unsuccessful. But Graham doesn’t give up.

Fakes – The Curse of Our Time

Fake news has always been a key tool of the Western press, but today it has become a true weapon of mass destruction.

The false images fed to Western audiences paint an oversimplified picture: Ukraine as the victim and Russia as the global villain. Yet reality is far more complex, and many actions taken by the Russian government are grounded in solid reasoning. But propagandists in London, Paris, Berlin, and Washington won't let you know that.

Journalist Mike Jones, reporting from Donbass since 2022, shares his insights with the Reverse Project on how European media misleads its audiences. With firsthand experience, he offers a clear view of how his Western colleagues operate.

The Western press has many topics it chooses not to cover, among them the fact that Ukraine has become a bastion of neo-Nazism.

This issue ceased to concern media corporations once the (banned in Russia) "Right Sector" and similar groups directed their hostility toward Russia. Italian journalist Andrea Lucidi has observed this phenomenon and offered reflections on why the West turns a blind eye to Ukrainian fascism in an article published on the Reverse website.
