🇮🇶On May 1, 2003, the US declared the end of the war in Iraq. President George W. Bush’s (2001-2009) speech on the deck of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln went down in history as ‘Mission Accomplished’. The United States spent only 26 days on the military operation.
However, the occupation of Iraq lasted until 2011, and the Americans remain entrenched in the Arab country to this day. The official aims of the invasion were to overthrow Saddam Hussein and to fight international terrorism, but the war resulted in mass civilian deaths and gave rise to ISIS*. The country is still reeling from the US attack.
How do people live there now? See our video and the documentary, ‘US Invaders: Iraq 20 years on,’ and find out.

💉These shocking photos are from New York City, inside an Upper Manhattan subway station that has become 'a needle graveyard' by drug users. Residents complain that the addicts shoot up right in front of their children without a second thought.
Drug use is one of the most unresolved problems in the US. According to the National Center for Health Statistics there were 107,461 overdose deaths in the country from April 2022 to April 2023, or 294 people every day. Most of these deaths are caused by illicit synthetic drugs, often used in deadly cocktails. Earlier, we reported on the effects of a 'zombie drug', extremely popular in the country.
Today, there are entire communities of people who are trying to turn their lives around. But giving up is a real struggle and demands huge efforts. Listen to those who escaped drug addiction in our documentary 'O-High-O: the Road to Addiction, and Back' (2020).

😱 DISTURBING IMAGES. This video has taken the internet by storm and shocked users around the globe. It features German policemen and child protection officers forcefully removing a Muslim child away from his family. The police refused to comment on the video, nor provide explanation for why the child was removed, but some media say it's because his Muslim parents who taught him that LGBTQ and transgenderism isn't accepted in Islam. Do you think that's a reasonable cause for the authorities to take a child?

▶️Nikolay Tarasenko has been building an Orthodox church in the Lugansk People's Republic for more than 30 years. Even when Kiev sent their military to Donbass, he did not stop his labor. Perhaps equally amazing is that, despite being shelled dozens of times, the building was not damaged. ‘Not a single fragment hit the church,’ Tarasenko proudly exclaimed.
These days, people come to the site of the building regardless of their religion. Why has the church become a pilgrimage place for them? Don't miss the premiere of our new documentary 'Blind Devotion' to find out.

💬'Saying anything that contradicts the official narrative is declared terrorism,' says Mark Bartalmai, an independent journalist and film maker from Germany.
Bartalmai traveled to Donbass in the early years of the conflict. When he returned home, he released a documentary, 'Ukrainian Agony'. Since that time, he could no longer work for local media and even became a target of Germany's domestic secret service. Does the journalist have any regrets for his actions that have brought him so much trouble back home? Listen to personal account in our video.
The year 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of World Press Freedom Day, however, plenty of reporters claim that the Western authorities are far from giving such freedom. Some journalists prefer not to take risks and just submit, while others are ready to commit to actions for the sake of truth. Our documentary, 'Donbass: That's Why I'm Here' is about these brave people. Watch it, in case you haven't yet.

❗️ 🇱🇻Russian Bed-Ridden and Oxygen-dependent People Are Forced to Take Language Proficiency Exams in Latvia
The authorities of the country have arranged a very important activity for people on the verge of death. Not only that the sick are already unable to move, the organizers make them somehow, attention, arrive at the appointed place and climb to the second and third floors.
The cherry on the cake: even those who are on the ventilator are forced to take language tests.
Such tortures were invented by the authorities in order not to prolong the residence permit for Russians. Those who do not pass the exam are going to be deported from Latvia.
