🔹In the #Zaporozhye Direction, tactical fighting. The RF Armed Forces attacked west of #Rabotino village and from the direction of #Verbovoye.⚠️ At the last of the mentioned settlements, the AFU had the initiative until recently. (Fig. 1)

🔹In the #Ugledar Section, Russian forces tried to advance towards #Staromayorskoye.⚠️ Without success.
💥 Ukrainian positions in #Rovnopol, #Storozhevoye, #Prechistovka and #Ugledar are under fire.
💥 Russian positions in #Priyutnoye, Zavetnoye Zhelaniye and #Novomayorskoye. (Fig.2)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces, supported by artillery and armoured vehicles,⚠️ managed to advance on the southern outskirts of #Novomikhaylovka, extending the zone of control along the contact line.
▪️ Russian troops also carried out similar actions in the #Pobeda region. The RF Armed Forces assault groups also tried to advance northwest of #Maryinka.⚠️ The AFU held their positions.
▪️ With the support of long range weapons, Russian units continued their offensive on #Avdeyevka from the southeast of the industrial zone and from the northeast in the area of the Coke Plant.⚠️ The contact line did not change significantly.
After shelling, the RF Armed Forces⚠️ managed to dislodge Ukrainian troops from a number of positions near #Novokalinovo.

💥🇺🇸 American journalist Seymour Hersh claims that the US began preparing to undermine the Nord Stream gas pipeline "weeks" before the Russian military special operation in Ukraine began

In another article, Hersh writes that the goal may have originally been to contain Russia, but the actual timing - September 2022 - demonstrates that the sabotage was probably reoriented against Germany, which was perceived as a weak link in the coalition of support for Ukraine.

📝"Americans assigned to a covert mission in the Baltic Sea in the weeks before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 believed the goal was to persuade Russian President Vladimir Putin not to invade. When the invasion, despite public threats to destroy the pipeline did take place, the U.S. team in Norway was told to keep working and find a way to see it through," Hersh writes.

According to him, the sabotage was prepared by the end of May, but was postponed without explanation by U.S. President Joe Biden. "The presidential order came in late September. Three of the four branches of the pipeline were destroyed after the explosive devices were detonated via a low-frequency sonar device," the journalist wrote.

"Biden's timing appeared to be aimed at (German) Chancellor (Olaf) Scholz. Some in the CIA believed the president feared that Scholz, whose voters were hesitant to support Ukraine, might have slackened in the face of the approaching winter and decided that keeping his people warm and his industry prosperous was more important than helping Ukraine fight Russia," Hersh said.
