Every single website tells a story

and you as the designer/developer have to lead your users where you want them to go using story telling.

These 6 sections are the sections every website (at least portfolio/landing page) should have.

The header - should contain a one liner that describes what your website talks about/sells

Stakes - what problems you are saving your users from

Value proposition - how are you solving those problems (stakes) and why someone should trust you with the solution

Plan - what working with you looks like, clients love clarity on what they’re getting into

Proof - what past clients/ people youve worked with have to say about you

Call to action (CTA) - highlighted section outlining how they can sign up/ purchase from you

What's the best free image generator AI?
I use Alpacaml.com for ai image generation
It is actually pretty accurate for something that’s free (I even use it in proper client work 👀)

lets talk type Scales

Consistency in your website or app makes it easier to use by creating familiarity. Achieve this by using a uniform approach to color schemes, text sizes, button styles, and spacing for similar elements (e.g., all secondary buttons looking the same or maintaining consistent spacing for elements with the same hierarchy). Let’s start with type scales—the video above by Figma explains how to set up a type scale to fit your needs.

check out this course by figma about design systems for more.

The Bill Splitter App

Ever been at a place with friends, ordered food and drinks (and maybe other things?😗) and you had to Split the bill?

Even worse…
Some in the gang know the price of stuff that they consumed, while some others are only looking at the vat exclusive price that came up on the bill (ugh!)
And on top of all of that, there is service charge which varies from place to place

Bill Splitter to the rescue to solve all of that!

Things it can do:

- Adding and removing friends
- Adding and removing items
- VAT calculation (15% when enabled)
- Service charge calculation (user-defined percentage)
- Per-friend totals
- Overall bill summary
