About 49,500 people took their own lives last year in the U.S., the highest number ever, according to new government data posted Thursday.

The CDC has not yet calculated a suicide rate for the year, but available data suggests suicides are more common in the U.S. than at any time since the dawn of World War II.

This is alarming.

Apparently, there's going to be a fight (wtf?) between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg soon

Musk had challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight in June. Zukerberg replied: “Send me location.”

Musk says the fight will be streamed both on X and Meta. He claims he spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture to arrange an epic location for the fight.

"Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all," Musk wrote on X.

However, Musk says he may need surgery before he can fight. In the meantime, Zuckerberg continues to train with MMA professionals.

"Age is just a number for us. If you go with a rich white lady, you feel proud and people treat you with respect. If a white woman likes me, I only ask for a little money to help us to eat and I will love her for as long as she loves me," says one of the Gambian bumsters.

This is quite a new take on colonialism.

The Heritage Foundation found that the United States’ current provision of $113 billion in aid to Ukraine costs $900 per American household.

Taking into account that this sum increased the national debt, American households will be burdened with another $300 in interest costs over a decade.

These numbers will continue to grow as long as the government continues to provide financial aid to Ukraine (or rather, to Zelenskyy, since no one knows where the money ends up going).

When you think of the natural disaster currently unfolding in Hawaii, the amount of taxpayer dollars that American households are sending to Ukraine becomes even more staggering.

Biden announced those who survived the fires in Hawaii will get "a one-time $700 payment per household offering relief during an unimaginably difficult time."

So, basically, Hawaiian families will get less financial support from the government than it has been sending to another country on behalf of those families.

San Francisco federal workers advised to work remotely because of safety concerns

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has told its hundreds of employees in San Francisco that it’s too dangerous to come in to the office.

HHS issued the stay-home recommendation in an Aug. 4 memo to regional leaders.

“In light of the conditions at the (Federal Building) we recommend employees … maximize the use of telework for the foreseeable future,” the memo says.

The area is reportedly home to one of the city’s most brazen open-air drug markets on a daily basis.
